Do you worship the Lord and Lady or just the Lady.

For me Wicca is the Divine Male and Female and their balance and cooperation. I do not regard a group that does not have this as Wiccan. Goddess worshipers yes. There are plenty of Wiccan men around I am one. The demographics go up and down. Wicca works at strengthening women. It also works at strengthening men to balance them. Strength is also helping those who aren't that strong.

I've seen many men who once called themselves Wicca now refer to themselves merely as Pagan. This may be a trend that is impacting the apparent number of men in Wicca. I consider myself more Pagan than anything these days.

There are many men who identify with being Pagan. I have many male friends who feel the same. However, the word "Witch and Wiccan", is something i disagree with. The word Witch is synonomous with abrahamic texts in the past, in that they were predomenantly "women who consorted with the devil". That in itself puts men off. Wicca, is a revival of the old ways. Which on the surface is great. However when it lends its name to Gerald Gardner, then i also feel uncomfortable with that. Too may of us are put into boxes in order to describe our spirituality. Its very interesting to hear and see other's points of view.

I disagree. The Abrahamic Texts aren't the end all be all of knowledge and the word Witch has different meanings worldwide, allowing the Abrahamic to set the tones gives it power that it doesn't deserve. Wicca is the name of the religious system created BY Gardner, it does not stand on its own. The major issue which "puts men off" with regards to Wicca is that far too many covens talk about the Goddess and ignore the God or male aspect. I understand that the Paternal focus of other religions(Again read Abrahamic) does put down and ignore the feminine aspects but that is no legitimate reason for those who walk different paths to ignore the Male aspect of the Divine that makes the Feminine aspect Fertile.
