I meant no offense, either, which is why I worded my response very carefully. Id appreciate it, though, if you answered my first question.
Why? What would it matter? It would in all liklihood be something that seperates us? What purpose would that serve? We both enjoy the moon.

I have learned to say "no". It is a good word to understand and employ once in awhile, when no other word will suffice. My beliefs are mine, yours are yours, debating them would serve no purpose.

I have learned this, please understand that I mean no offense.

Please know it is not you, it is me, I would get dragged into a conversation where I begin to defend what I believe and I always do that poorly so I have learned not to go there. My bad, not yours.

And I mean no offense when I was just asking you to clarify what you meant. You are the one that posted something vague on a public board. I'm not debating you at all. I posted my beliefs- I'm not debating yours. I was asking you to clarify what you meant when you said...

Hello! I was curious about what you mean by "the full moon is worked alone." I'm not sure if I agree or disagree, but I want to make sure I know what you meant by that, before stating my opinion.
I didn't mean to come off as combative, and I think I may have in my post. If I could edit it, I would. What I was hoping for is more information- I wouldn't judge what you believe. Like I said- it doesn't matter to me. I was just interested in your statement, as I've not heard that before.

I'm not baiting you, or beating down/debating your beliefs. I'm simply asking you to share more information about your statement. I'm not a troll- don't treat me like one. Why would I debate your beliefs? I'm not emotionally invested in what you believe in.

I'm glad that you've 'learned to say no,' but in doing so, please understand that you may be construed as an elitist by those who you are saying no to. You can't open the door to a conversation, then once a person you don't like comes into it- slam the door on them. All kinds of people will come through your open door- thats what happens on a public message board.

First, I am sorry if you feel like I am treating you like a troll. That is not my intention nor do I think badly of you.

I was stupidly using an open forum like an email almost with Kethry, it was unwise of me. I should have considered that the conversation between Kethry and I was open. Very stupid of me.

I have in the past been involved in some, conversations concerning my beliefs that have gotten pretty heated, controversial, and down right nasty. I have decided just to not go there anymore and keep my path to myself. If that makes me an elitist,(thats a new one haven't been called that one yet) so be it.

Again it has nothing to do with you, it is me and my issues. I have been down this road so many times before and it never ends pleasantly. Therefore I choose not to go down it anymore.

It is not my intent to hurt or anger you and please know I do nor have I ever considered you a troll.

Natalia, there is nothing stupid about stating how you like to work on the Full moon,I understood you perfectly, and anyone that is familiar with your ways and anyone who has read you previous Full moon posts and Tarot posts would understand why you prefer to work alone on a Full moon.

Please allow me to give my opinion on why I think you work the moon alone, Because you are passionate about the moon's energy and moonlight, because you feel the need to protect it as it protects you, like a mother/sister/mate...for one night alone the Moon light is yours, surrounding yourself in its energy you can change yourself to change the world, no one else need be included, this is about you and the Moon for just one single night.
This is your way, the way you have raised by your mother and Grandmother, hold it close, it is a beautiful way.

I understand why you can not defend your traditions on this very open forum, Sestra, you should not have to defend them, no one should have to defend what they believe and what they have been taught, you were not asking anyone to do as you do, you were just stating how YOU work the Full moon.

Please do not be offended if I give some clarity to your original Comment,I think a simple change in wording is all that is needed to change the whole perception of what you wrote....'THIS IS WHY I WORK THE FULL MOON ALONE, It becomes very habitual after awhile. You guard and covet that light to yourself'.

Love and blessings Sestra.

I wouldn't call you stupid. I had no idea that you were speaking only to Kethry, and that you weren't speaking to the rest of the people on the message board. All that I was trying to say is... don't open a door that you don't want to go through- it just invites trouble. But as your comment was solely aimed at Kethry (personally, I'm a big fan of email or IM for that sort of thing, rather than try to have a personal conversation on a message board) I see where you were coming from. My understanding was that since you brought it up, it may be used as a discussion point. Obviously, I misunderstood.

And some people who haven't read all of Natalia's posts wouldn't understand why she works alone on the full moon. I haven't read her posts on the Tarot, etc. I read this thread, and replied within the context of this thread only, as I am not aware of the backstory of all of her other posts.

With one subtle change, this is exactly what I was trying to convey. Thank you, Kethry.

I think this is a great place to post a PSA here (my opinion, only!)- if you post about something on a message board, don't be surprised if people want to discuss it, or ask you questions about it. This is a public message board- not a personal email/IM. Personally, I wouldn't post anything that I do not feel comfortable discussing with anyone who reads it.

There are members on here that come and go, there are also members on here like myself and Natalia that have along history and have been on this same forum for many many moons, I would not expect any newbie on here to know the history and backstories, but surely it is not too much to ask a newbie to respect the fact that some older members may occasionally have one to one conversations with eachother as if the rest of the forum were not visible...many friendships have been born this way.
Natalia was unclear in her comment and this lead you to believe you could almost demand an explanation before you 'state an opinion'.

She has given a satisfactlry explanation as to why she does not wish to do so, and I have tried to explain to clarify to you what she ment. And all this time we are now treating this very public forum like a private message/chat fascility even though 'in your opinion' you think that one to one chat should be kept OFF the public forum.

Now my point is...anything can be said on a forum by anyone and to anyone, just because it is public does not mean that every word someone says should be scrutinised, i could say my crap smells but does it then mean i have to tell you why it smells?

This whole conversation got silly the moment you sadi you would 'wait for her reply before you stated an opinion' in my opinion i think you are to rash with your opinions and just to add...we have gone off topic, surely that is not allowed on a public forum either.

Natalia, it is the Full moon at 2.30...it is 1.55 am here, I have not laid my cards this time, but I am going to bed now, i will light a candle, watch the moon from my window and whisper to you at 2.30 "When I change myself, I change the world".

Goodnight Sestra. xx

Last night the moon went full at 21:11, it went void of course at 21:12, then went into Sagg at 22:20. Historicly a void of course full moon leads to conflicts, so I therefore attempt to steer clear of them during the days around the full moon. Sometimes they just seem to bubble up no matter what you do to steer clear of them.

Ivy? I really do not think you are a troll, on another thread you asked me to explain the Previo, which I did to the best of my ability. However when it comes to my core beliefs, I have learned to avoid conflict by keeping them to myself and a small group who know me. I apologise if this has created negative feelings.

On a good note let me just say that at least this moon didn't result in a conflict that these two had under it:

Hi Natalia:

I have nothing but respect for you. Not everyone can explain their feelings, and say "my bad." I admitted my mistake, you admitted your mistake, so we are all good.:) I'm getting ready to go back to your Previo thread...

Blessings,
Ivy

Resorting to threats when faced with wisdom makes you not only an obviously ignorant ill-tempered "curser", the name-calling you fling about adds "childish" to the mix. Why so defensive??

Ignore ninetailedfox. Whether or not you believe in the otherkin, or believe that she is one, ninetail is little more than a troll out for attention. Her arrogance and anger betray her as little more than a rebellious child.
