Herbalist, I think you been using a tidge too much of that herb. All this crap in there, and you expect ANYONE to take it seriously? I'm sure Hitler had a great recipe for streudel, but I wouldn't buy his cook book to get it.
I do not know how you can assume all of this your posting. I do not take any herb, rarely take an aspirin, do not smoke or drink and have not been to a doctor since I had my daughter 36 years ago. As for the book, the stuff is in there as I stated, I do not take it seriously but I know some out there would in this day and age. I guess I should use your reasoning and assume Hitler is your idol since you brought him up?

Actually no...Hitler killed many of my relatives. I was making a point...which was lost on you.
I am sorry you seem to think I am out to get you, whoever you are, and sorrier still that your sense of humor seems to have been dulled. One way or the other, please bear in mind that I am still glad to see you posting on here, your posts liven up the place, that's for sure. Have a great week!

it seems like every time we do get a poster
"livening" up the place they are judged and bullied off.

That's true...but Herbalist isn't doing anything wrong, I think he just feels picked on, and lashed out at the first person he saw. I don't mind, since I can understand how annoying the picture buttons can be, but the accusations and horrible implications about that bastard Hitler are not only insulting, but hurtful. I'll assume he didn't know, since there's no way he could have, but that was WAY below the belt even for a troll. He didn't even take the time to ask what I meant, just started slinging anti-Semite insults. There is NEVER any reason whatsoever for that, ever, from anyone, "lively" posts or not. That is NOT tolerance or respect, it's racist.

Not to mention, his first post was to endorse a book that includes spells that involve torturing cats and killing babies. Way to go, to make a first impression!

i just read all of your recent posts. i did not see anyone picking on herbalist. i did not see any endorsement of the book by herbalist either. herbalist is referred to as a he, but herbalist states had a daughter, which suggests to me a woman. i did not see any anti-semite slinging by herbalist. the whole episode seems to be a blown out of proportion misunderstanding. i wll agree with george that it seems just when a subject gets interesting those judging buttons turn some away.

Arrie, thanks for the correction regarding Herbalist's gender.

The book recommendation was in post #62.

Arrie, thank you for correcting my impression of Herbalist's gender...but my husband often refers back to when "he" had our daughter when chatting, as many dads do, so I went with what I was familiar with.

And I also agree, it has been blown all over the place. Not a word more from me about it.

As for the judging buttons, they don't mean a thing. It just means someone read what you had to say and thought about it enough to follow up with decoration. LOL

Nice to meet you, by the way.

I think some of the people here need to stop judging other people regarding what they believe. Who cares if they believe something different to you? They came here asking for advice from people who believe what they do and not to be criticized, so please, show some respect?

Often the problem is deciding who is genuine and who is trying to discredit the people here and their beliefs.

If it doesn't work.

Wouldn't it be easier just to buy an airline ticket?
