Christianity teaches: Love thy neighbor as thyself.

Islam teaches: Kill your neighbor, rape his wife, steal his belongings, burn his shop down and forcibly convert his children.

Islam is pure filth.

Faith that is some Islamic's, not all. I have met few I liked, but there are some. Do unto others as you would be done by is a good beginning. Still there are those that believe that if anybody acts against their "God's" will, ALL will be punished with no regard for innocence. I am glad my religion Wicca does not have that set of beliefs. We are the children of the Lord and Lady, all of us not just Wiccans. It is laid upon us to help others in the "Family" not just pretend but really try. Some of us secede most do not. If you and the world around you are happy what more can be asked?

The "Golden Rule", see Matthew 7:12, which says:

"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." (NIV)

Jesus makes it so simple and straight forward. If only Muslims would believe this very logical and common sense statement by Jesus.

The golden rule does not apply to Islam. The Quarn states muslims should be merciful to muslims and harsh with non muslism.
Islam is the religion of supremacist nazis.

Sorry to tell you this Ken but I have the 'honour' of knowing a woman that claims to be a Wicca, a white witch at that.
She wouldn't know a good deed if it came up and shook her andso you'll have to excuse me if I have doubts about your good opinion of Muslims.

Yes, some do succeed better than others.

The Golden Rule is more secular than religious.

And you are right if one and the people (or world) is happy. What more could be asked of a person.

For some people they tend to judge by their own yard sticks. Especially, what they do not want to understand.

I found this forum topic on google. I've been very disappointed with it's contents. The author of this thread is posting under a topic about "Jainism" and is a christian trying to show why their delusional beliefs are better than some other religion's delusional beliefs, just because one is actually somewhat helpful to society. Christianity says a good number of other things than just "the golden rule." I'm sure the qu'ran says at least one thing you'd agree with. Both religions have cause more suffering than they're worth.
According to some pages, in this world which contains 4.2 million followers of Jainism, and between 6 and 8 billion people in the entire population, you'll have many other places with more people to convert to your religion, than a topic about Jainism.
