The last time I put my own atheism through the spin cycle rather than simply wiping it clean was when I wanted to make a ceremony after the birth of my third child.

Do you really believe that all Atheists are Stalinists / Communist, like you said last week?

Maybe you can make a new years resolution to not be a d*ck anymore to Atheists?

Both sides cherry pick history to prove their point.

Do you feel Soviet communism was a Christian movement?

Do you find using profanity aids your arguments?

Can you see any value in the ideas with which you disagree?

Hitler was undeniably Christian, every Nazi belt has "in God we Trust" emblazoned on the front. Christians operated the gas chambers. Hitler never renounced his Catholocism.

When you can over come your disability and stop lying about Atheists, maybe we will give your 3000 year old Creationism Cult Theory some oxygen?

Not all Christians are capable of Atrocities, but the ones that don't correct the bible are at still at fault for standing by hateful and intolerant beliefs against Atheists.

No Christian has ever stood up and corrected the bible's hate against Atheists.

Each day that passes is another day of guilt from inaction.

Each attempt to changed the subject away from proof, another insult to the intelligence of Atheists.

True enough.

Mind you, I think Hitler was only religious like many people are - they don't seriously believe in an Abrahamic god or any to be found on godchecker.com , but they are raised religious and never seriously and publicly question it. I doubt if Hitler believed in a Christian god(s) any more than President Obama (or most educated and intelligent people) but they both profess to be religious and appear to have religious faith. If they didn't, they probably couldn't have got far in politics in their age and societies, much less get elected. There was strong prejudice against atheism in Europe in the 30s and it can seem almost as bad as that in the USA today.

How stupid would someone have to be to believe Christian dogma like the Virgin birth, Adam & Eve, or that we actually know 'what Jesus said'? I think Hitler/Obama just accepted/accept Christian dogma for what it was/is. They had/have other priorities.

A bit of a stretch for those
devoted to logic and evidence.

On the contrary, Hitler was very vocal about his belief in the Christian god:

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

""My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. "

Religious people have grtied to cover up their involvement, but the facts just keep coming back again and again - showing the religious to be liars when it suits them.

Prior to that was, "How stupid would someone have to be to believe Christian dogma like the Virgin birth, Adam & Eve, or that we actually know 'what Jesus said'?", but you ignore or discount that bit.

It isn't illogical to speculate that an intelligent person like Pres Obama might not really believe in an Abrahamic god(s) and maybe doesn't believe in gods at all. I suspect most educated people probably don't, if they stop and think about it. Religion is a legacy of human development. That you cannot even understand that much says more about you than me.

You have no problem believing that Hitler was an atheist but find it ludicrous to even think that President Obama might not be. As Jim has pointed out Hitler,(like Obama), could sound perfectly religious when he wanted to. If Hitler can say such things and be atheist why not Obama? Even I was a Christian in the 2001 UK census poll. Do I sound like I believe in gods and spaghetti monsters?!

And I'm not devoted to logic and evidence, I value them appropriately. I'll leave belief in flying spaghetti monsters, gods or pixies to you. You still daren't define any god and run from associating yourself with any religion. At least we've made that plain to all. You see yourself as defending god and religion but don't wish to be associated with any. Then you "LoL!"

Religion = superstition

Hitler was basically a Liar, who murdered many Atheists, Agnostic, Christians and Jews.
He wrote pro Christian statements and in "the Table Talk" attacked Christianity.
He lied to advance his agenda of murder.
He had no problem murdering children in gas chambers

Again, Adolf Hitler was a Liar and a mass murderer.
In philosophy the idea of the material and non material world exist, one proved and the other of faith.
People of faith can not prove that God exists or that he created the universe.
If one takes a complete materialist view of the world the it is difficult to prove that beauty, friendship and love exist.
The number of people who believe in an idea does not indicate the validity of the idea?
Have a good day
