Learning and Growing

I had to take some time to look deep inside myself. While posting my comments in the "Back in the Broom Closet" thread, I was so focused on trying to be the right one, I was so focused on proving others wrong, that I failed to remember actual facts that I already learned. My quest to be right overrode my knowledge. What was I thinking? I KNEW that potions had to consist of more then just one ingredient...I KNEW that. When I realized I was wrong, I hate to admit but I was so embarrased, and I really sunk very low, and really put myself down. How could I fail to see facts through such a quest for dominance? I must apologize for my inaccuracy through selfishness.
I had to realize, that it was truly a learning experience. That my failure to realize a truth I already knew, didn't make me a dumb person. I had to look deep inside myslef, and remember that I am still learning, and this experience has helped me grow not just as a Pagan, or a Witch, but as a person. I think that recognizing our faults, and learning from them, truly helps us grow. I had to remember I am smart, that I am strong, and my faults only show my humility and wisdom. One's path will forever be learning, and growing from one's experiences.
