What is it with the Catholics lately? Earlier this month we see stories about an exorcism revival in Europe and Australia that seems to specifically target modern Pagans, and now we get anti-Pagan apologetics ...

Wow, it's been very quiet here and on some of the other boards. Where is everyone? I won't be around much either. I am taking a few days off, maybe take a mini-trip to Boston for both fun and research (my daughter's AP History project).
If I don't get back on here today, I'd like to wish everyone a great weekend.
Hey! Just popping in. I've been trying to get my small business started and it's taking it's toll on my free time.:P

Enjoy your trip!!:D

Same here. Trying to get my inventory set up for November's metaphysical faire. The leather throngs* are giving me trouble (*suede straps for necklaces and bracelets).

HAve a safe trip, Ilona!

just found a moment to catch up.
Hallo again, everyone.
Safe trip to all travelling.

I'm not conventionally "arty" but am into papercrafting - it unleashes my creative side. I found that I became more creative "I write, too" after initiation. Does anyone else find that their creativity seems to bloom alongside their spiritual development (of whatever type)?

And Dawn, where can I get some reasonably priced Ren Faire clothing. I only have 2 weeks. Bought tickets in advance but have not had the time to make it to the Faire. Luckily the one in New York runs through the end of September.

Not yet. I do mainly the metaphysical faire that happens 4 times a year here. I use the in-between times for making the jewelry and shawls/wraps.

Look I used to be Catholic and frankly the religion made me feel dirty and guilty about my natural sexuality. So what if a group of consenting adult Wiccan choose to dedicate a orgy to the God and Goddess. That's their business. Orgies aren't a regular thing, that highly unusual in our rituals. Here's an idea, since a lot of pagans have gone to Christian gatherings try coming to one of ours and see what we are like first hand before you deem fit to judge us.

The ones who cling to the "Pagan Orgy" myths are so devoted to the idea, I think it's something they choose to believe because it makes their naughty parts tingle.

Wow...so you think we try to contol? So you think we're evil? You really need to do your homework, you really need to do your research. First of all, like NY Pagan said, you say a prayer, we say a spell. We don't have any control over a spell when it comes down to it, our Deites have the power in the end to let what we want to accomplish come true, and if it does come true, ever heard of Karma? The only thing we can do is pray (do a spell)and hope our energy, will power, and imagination is enough for them to help. If you don't like Pagans, don't comment on it. Freedom of religion is freedom of ALL religions, all paths lead to one destination. I have many friends and family from various religious backrounds, good people, and they're not close minded at all.

Bears, Gods assassins.

Man 1: Why are you putting on your running shoes? You can't out run a bear.
Man 2: Don't need to. I just have to out run you.
