What is it with the Catholics lately? Earlier this month we see stories about an exorcism revival in Europe and Australia that seems to specifically target modern Pagans, and now we get anti-Pagan apologetics ...

What's up with some these wild rituals on this website?

Do you pray? If you're not trying to control things, why do you pray?

Which ritual do you identify as being wild?? I saw rituals for protection, safe travel, blessings and worship for the Sabats (holy holidays). You saw?

Yes, my grandmother believed that. And so did her family before her. All thought they'd see the end before they died...none here to see it.

Big difference, at a Catholic Mass we don't instruct people to rip their clothes off and have an orgy like that website said in one of Goddess rituals.
O RLY? Which Goddess ritual, cuz I missed that one?! You've obviously been all over that site...interesting in itself, but,....show me which ritual encourages the orgy. Going skyclad in a solitary practice, btw, doesn't count. If God created us without clothes or shame, why should we have it when we stand before our Goddess?
I have never gone skyclad in ritual, I'm just saying.

I'd feel threatened by beliefs inspired by the Devil too.

Inspired by the devil? How can someone be inspired by something they don't believe in? The devil is a xtain tool used to scare people.

Uh, in a word, NO. I left "the church" over 30 years ago and I have NEVER looked back....and I never will.

Now, Knit and Pray this is the last thing I will say to you and your cronies:

Quit being such a bitch Knit and Pray..go back to your yarns and church and quit harrassing and stalking the pagans, go talk to some other Christians and enjoy your life....and go with "God's Speed".

All the other Christian buttinskies: just stfu....you go live your lives the way you see fit and leave everyone else alone to live the way they see fit. How someone else lives is NONE of your business....tend to your own garden (or knittin' as the case may be)...judge not and all that. Go to your churches and pray for wisdom and tolerance....you are ALL in DESPERATE NEED of it.

(As you can see NYPagan, my bullshit tolerance level is in the negative integers...being sick yourself and having your mother lying in a hospital dying will do that to ya.)

To the Christians: Be at peace and go with God.
To the Pagans: Blessing be unto thee and thine; live well.

What...? No not all. I am pagan and i do not think for one instant that I can control the gods. May be you should read a book or two on what we in the pagan faiths believe before you look foolish.

Thank you dear. I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling well too. My "damnable tummy bug" will go away soon enough and I do have medicines to deal with it. I really hate being sick in the first place and even more so now because I feel that each second is so precious and if I'm sick...I lose precious seconds with my mom, because I can't go see her if I'm ill. I can't risk taking something in to her and causing her more problems than she already has.

As for my mother, thank you. It has been a long road which began in January and is continuing on for now. We know the end is coming...and we know it is "soon". I just hate that she is in such misery and there is nothing much they can do to alleviate her misery. Makes me extremely sad and very very grouchy and angry. I try to not take that out on others...but sometimes....well....lets just say that somedays it is easier to restrain and control my emotions than others....today....is *not* that day.

Take care dear and be well soon.

My friend, the dark side exists. The demons and devils are hard at work to tear down everything we value--monogamous Love, family, Unconditional Love, Home, career, Nation... etc.

Just as all the Saints, and Jesus too, and Our Lady are hard at work trying to inspire us to build Love, to build Civilization and trust God.

We have free will to obey either side.

Perhaps when Druids ran Ireland, there was some building of Civilization, but ALL of the modern "pagans" I have encountered are all just into pleasure and hedonism. Read any website about the "Burning Man" festival, and you'll get a pretty good idea of where these simpletons are coming from, and what they value.

Well the "devils" and the "demons" must have been hard at work corrupting and perverting the Catholic church, and it looks like they did a thorough job.

So how can Christians be so pompous and so hypocritical all at the same time?
