Full story: WXIA Atlanta

Laura Mallory is not a Harry Potter fan, and she isn't giving up the fight to have the popular character taken out of elementary school.

<quoted text>LOL, that's fine, we understand completely how words occasionally don't come out of your fingers as easily as they come out of your head, especially when you have such a valid point to make with such passion.
Thanks Pagan! By the way...LOVE the picture!

Pink Floyd is far better than the usual "Screaming Blue Meanies" that we get in here...

<quoted text>All i can say is this i made a promise to p and p not to try and get him or her to believe anymore. this is a promise i plan to abide by. Thus to continue would violate that promise. I also will apply this promise to all on this thread nor shall i audit it again. Seeing no good can come from it. And they are correct they being sovergn in their own lives have the right given by god to reject any knowledge of him and or His complete presence. Your claim of contradiction comes from a lack of knowledge and faith. Not knowing the difference between spiritual man and physical man. Jesus was son of joseph and son of david. In jewish tradition they make little difference in father grand father and great grandfather etc. Keep believeing or not believing your choice and your responsibilty. Your blood be on your own head. Anyway i will also not continue to pray or mention you or any other in this way to God. For somethings you should not even pray for. But i wish you well and happy lives my God bless yourselves and your children. This final thing i pray in Jesus name Goodbye.
Sayonara and good riddence.

It's a shame. He seemed so sure of his faith so I was waiting for him to prove it. Afterall you don't talk about a faith like obvious fact if it's just belief do you? Oh wait he's a 'Christian', in that case yes you do (-_-')

Right..... Ban Harry Potter, and while we are at it, lets make it a crime to read kids fairy tales (after all, they portray sorcerers, the devil, dragons, witches etc), ban Santa Claus, Christkindl and Father Christmas. Read kids Bush' s memoirs, that will help :-/

My child is always reading, and she drives me crazy , but I know it benefits her in school, but sometimes I have to stop her when she needs to do homework or go to gymnastics.

A lot of things in this world go against my religion. But because my religion is a personal faith I have the decency to keep it to myself unless it is causing serious harm.
People arn't taught enough about religions such as Pagan so they grow up narrow minded. But then of course, if it wss taught in school people would be up in arms about that as well. >_<
I'm afraid that a great number of books would not support your religion -- or any other. A mind growing (for life) expands on ideas beyond its own, and keeps on doing so. As Robert Burke once famously remarked, "Beware the man who reads just one book."
