Completely False and relevant only if you believe exactly as YOU do.

A human generation is 120 years? You’re daft. Your confusing length of life with generation. Most sources place the length of a generation around 20 years.

From Merriam-Webster
Generation
3: the average span of time between the birth of parents and that of their offspring

It’s no wonder you’re confused on religion. Usually it’s a good idea to look up words you don’t understand.

No, it's far past time that he should learn that the internet is more than a place to proselytize and annoy others. I'm perfectly content making myself understood to others while watching him look like a deer caught in the headlights. If it shuts him down for a few minutes, all the better.

Reading some of the comments here. It seems to me that alot of people are quick to blame books and movies and music on the way our children are raised and who they become.. It takes the parent or the caregiver to tell the child no or keep such things away from the child. No it isnt one persons place to say what my child reads or does, that is my decision, and if I want to keep my child from such things it is my responsibility to do so. Harry Potter is not written to make children think of being a witch or what ever but it gives the child a chance to have an imagination as long as the child is taught that magic isnt real. Everybody wants to bring God into every post . I think God still wants us to think for ourselves sometimes.. Pick your battles, Know what is really important. One book is the least of our worries. Teach your children the wrong and rights but allow them to also see reality of life. These people out here that are over protective are hurting there children. This world is changing daily and of course its not all good. Our children need to know what is happening , about drugs, sex , violence, because your not always going to be there to keep them safe, children need to be prepared for the realities of life. I think the parents that are trying to protect there children are just as ignorant to the matter. People dying everyday, people killing everyday are not made up stories and our children need to know it .. Parents Im not saying quit being a parent but for godsakes be honest with yourself, with them. Be open talk to your children quit trying to hide life. Be there for them and let them know that they can come talk to you about anything. Our children with depression and problems that are committing suicide. Did they have someone to talk to, was the parents open to say come to me I am here for you. Or did everytime the child opened there mouth they were told to shut up that what they were saying was wrong and against God. Life is life and it isnt going away, we have to take responsibility over our children and keeping them locked up from reality and life is not the way to do it. Keep them safe but also aware of how real all the craziness is...
Very well said and a lesson that many parents would do well to take to heart.

Thank God that he is always forgiving witches everywhere simply for believing in His Son.
Boy have you got it all wrong. Speaking just for myself, I dont practice my spiritual path in order to justify myself or anything else. I practise it because I find it far more fullfilling than your mythological pathway ever could. Whos been teaching you this ?

You wanna talk unneccessary and unfair ? Its hardly neccessary and/or fair of you to continue to try and sell us a load of goods that were not intrested in. And its hardly respectfull of you to continue doing so even after weve made it abundantly clear that we dont want your religion or your jesus or your jehovah and speaking for myself as well those who have also said so here, we dont want your salvation or your god's salvation either. For those of you who are offended by my use of the word "we", I appologise.

Reminds me of those stupid telemarketers who keep trying to sell me/us windows and siding and just can't understand that we live in an apartment and have no use for either.

Where have I been?!?! WORKING! I actually WORK for a living. I'm blue-collar and DAMN proud of it! I'm also Pagan and proud of that as well. I'm proud of my straight A christian children. Yes, they're christian and I am not. If christianity is the path that makes them happy, so be it. Hopefully, they will never be christians like you! They have been brought up to know what's right and wrong and they know that the way you portray christianity is not a good way to be. They were taught tolerance, something you seem to be lacking. And yes, my child still love me very much even though I'm Pagan. I have told them or anyone that they have to follow a Pagan path. The six years I've been involved in the local youth organization, I have NEVER even THOUGHT of forcing my beliefs on ANY of the kids. The WORST thing you can possibly do is hurt a child and I am fiercely protective of both my own children and 'my' children in the organization. I also don't believe is unneccessarily harming animals. Am I a vegan? No. Yes, I eat meat including venison. Will I ever intentionally kill an animal just because? NO! However, it's different when it comes to my kids. ALL of them. I am a Marine first. Besides, anyone STUPID enough to try to harm them....well, you get the idea. I guess this still means that you think I'm going to hell because I don't believe in YOUR god-type-figure. If that turns out to be the case, I'll save a seat for you! You use the same rhetoric that pedophiles use. In fact, if it turns out that I AM going to hell, I'll make SURE that I bring you with! No, that's not a threat....it's promise! However, since I don't believe in hell, you don't have to worry. Those who don't believe in love and tolerance will find out what it's like. Either in this life or the next. Maybe you should worry about your own soul first and let the rest of us worry about our's!

LOL, that's fine, we understand completely how words occasionally don't come out of your fingers as easily as they come out of your head, especially when you have such a valid point to make with such passion.

How does this have anything to do with the teachers? A parent complained because the book was available at school. The teachers weren't forcing anyone to read the book. And I would, however, tend to agree. Some students need to be left alone and stop wasting teachers time and taxpayers $$. They aren't there to learn.

The teachers didn't have anything to do with it and neither did the students. It was one lunatic mother.
