I have returned and have made some great accomplishments. I have worked out a deal with a Denver company to make our new robes and furnish us with bedding and baby clothes for greatly reduced prices. They will trade goods for goods as well. Our Flax cloth is what made the deal for us. Our new ISP is a great deal less expensive too and it is local. The Temple will save at a minimum $125 per month on Internet access and we get better speeds.
We have a new Tea that Development has given us, It will keep the Urinary tract cleaner and has no caffeine.
With help of the Goddess we now have a furniture company that will help us find free furniture. It will have damage or be used in some instances but it will greatly help.
Our talks with a Pharmaceutical company may come to a deal this month and Medications for you Kcuph, will come at a lower price. Our Herbalists have come through for you as well.

You would be called a Spellcaster in our way of things. Most of us are. Very few get the big names like Earth Mother, Green Mother/Father, Wise Woman/Man etc. And very very few become Mon. Like the Sain. He does some unbelievable stuff.
Have you gor an Atheme?
I don't know what names I'd use I always invoke Gaia, she'd be my patron deity.(I'm very earthy person!)

Yeah, no I haven't got an atheme. There really isn't a huge market for metaphysical supplies in Ireland. A few places do the from time to time but its impossible to order them.

They came and switched my modem over before they got to the temple. They had a hard time finding it.
Cool beans on the furniture and meds. How is the baby doing? I heard she has problems.

I always call to the Mother. She is the only one I trust with my soul.

Ok lets do a silver ring purification and evil barring spell.

Take any silver object it can be a ring or broach or even a key/watch fob. It can be anything but a coin. Silver neck chain or braid, just any silver object that you always keep on your person.
Get some salt. Plain old sea salt or non iodized salt. Three white unscented candles. A Sprig of white sage and some lavender oil.

Ok, now that you have all of the items go gather six or twenty friends and have them bring a silver something.
Wash the Silver objects in hot water for ten minutes or bathe them in the lavender oil then rinse them in hot water until all of the oil residue is gone. I'll wait...

Ok,now the silver object are nice and sparkley clean. Put them on a table with space between each one, don't let two touch but place them close together.
Got it? Ok.
Now take the salt and draw a triangle of salt around the silver objects, make sure that one point in the triangle is pointing north (Magnetic north).
Put the candles at the three points starting north then west then east. I'll wait...

Light the candles as you call to the Mother and your Guardian/s. I'll wait.

Ok, here is the Incantation. Normally you would write your own but we've come this far and we don't want Gaia tapping her toes waiting for you to make up something.
Here Goes!
Blessed Mother and Guardians.
Here we call to thee.
To purify this silver.
To make it evil free.
We ask that you work through us.
As we begin our charm.
Bar this silver from evil.
Allow the wearer no harm.
We ask in humble manner.
You send all evil away.
We purge ourselves of evil.
We thank you merrily.
Our lives will now be safe.
So Mote It Be!.

Quit reading and blow out the candles thanking the Mother and your Guardians as each candle is blown out. Each person lifts only their own Silver Object.
Clean up your salt mess and it's all done.
Now smudge with the sage and dispel all other residual magics.

Thank you for sharing that Kcuph (for some odd reason I was sticking an 'l' in there! Sorry) It's a beautiful blessing! Sorry for being so awkward about it all!

Great news about the Temple! Well done Tian_mon! Sounds like a vey peaceful place, I gather though that it can prove difficult enough to keep afloat! I'm currently trying to provide some sort of Pagan Soc at my uni here and its getting support from everyone in theory but ask who wants to be active..."Sorry busy". But today I found that there are more resources in the local area, just not very well advertised!

Wishing you the best!

I know the UK has knife laws. I could get an Atheme easy enough and send it to you. If it's legal.

Thank you, en tis blethec. I had the same difficulties in university. I started a Historical research group to bind the people together. Vocal involvement is not as helpful as people think. The "sorry busy" or "not right now" individuals will get involved if you have a common cause. Using pure religion or faith studies to create a society or social group is frightening to many. Involvement is fun to talk about, only to talk about.
Finding finances and other aid/donations is almost impossible unless you live in an area that is totally accepting. Inventing an income to do what you need becomes nightmarish. Market is the best direction to take. Incomes from Marketed items grow over time and insure an income for your future. Look to marketing as an avenue. Many people will donate objects over money and time, it offers a product recourse. Start your group with a positive opportunity for income/aid. A common research study will draw not only interest but opportunity for added grades and interest from Professors and faculty. Invest in invention. Nothing insures an income more than an item that can not be found elsewhere. A multi faceted program can insure the future of any faith based endeavor. Don't rely on donations or marketing alone and never rely on participation. Create a reason for involvement, add opportunities for higher grade levels and possibility of extra income to participants. People will work for reward faster than they will give away time.

I can't afford to focus on an income! The Student's Union have very strict laws (legal ones) about how much a society can earn! If you end up earning over a certain amount you're classed as a financial business and budget and society status is revoked! The uni will back societies hugely I just have garantee that I'll spend the whole lot! So to appeal to all pagans I'm come up with several activities like visiting ringforts and dolmens and court cairns in the area! There are also moots in other couties and some Pagan Socs in other colleges!

I'm not really sure what the story is in Ireland in relation to knife laws! I know several websites (majority US based and some UK based) offer athame's but having no credit card I can't send money!

I don't find it a huge hinderance anyway! I'm an elementalist in nature so automatical direct energies! But thank you so much for offering I may take you up later but for now I'm happy enough! Besides I could go the classic route and make my athame from wood if need be!

Using Magic is easy. I use power of Spirit or power of faith. Some can harness more.
Take a minute and research rods... here I'll help.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_ (cryptozoology)#Flying_Rod_mys tery_solved.3F

The thing is, how can bugs be a meter long and a third as wide? How can you see one through a regular telescope? If it moves faster than you can"see with a naked eye" then why can you see them through simple optics? Yeah Science has debunked flying insects. But they have not debunked myst.
There are sub atomic particles that go through the earth and us every day. There are photos of rods going through people. What type of bug can fly through a solid object?
See, Science has a big bunch to learn yet.
Rods are not animals. Not insects and not sub atomic particles. They are the Myst.
When modern man was new to this earth he had no swords or rifles or anything other than rocks and sticks for defense. He really didn't need rifles or he would have developed them sooner. Warfare was not needed until later. Man used more of his brain too. No pat answers existed. Part of using your brain was seeking answers to everything.
The myst surrounds us and goes through us. It is not effected by time or space. It is there to be gathered and only the Spirit can summon it. Yep! We forgot that part. The Myst cant create in the physical so we kinda forgot what it can do.
Myst affects all spiritual things. Learning to harness it is hard.
Well Kcuph? Why did you bring up warfare???
We just did an incantation or spell to protect ourselves from evil. The Myst can keep all evil beings away from you by force! It can push an evil entity out of this plane completely.
There is a Warning about the end of days. When man's hatred for man creates his destruction. The return of the Wizards. The Shadow Walkers. Here is what it says.
" It will be they, the Shadow Walkers, the unseen.
Leading them will be the Father of Shadow. They three will be the removers of hate and the destroyers of Anger. Through these three will be the cleansing by myst of all evil beasts"
Hatred according to the warning will be purged by those who know how to use the myst. The reason it comes in a warning is because the rest of the warnings tell us what not to do.

You mentioned that "The wood carvings were lost to the Crusades in 1040 CE" But the First Crusade was not preached until 1095 CE and didn't reach the Holy Land until 1099 CE. Were you talking about something other than the generally known European Crusades?(Sorry, I am an inveterate medieval history buff!)

Hi,

Actually I do have some questions that I hope you can answer for me.

You speak of your Mother Goddess. Do you also have a God or Gods that you work with as well, or do you work solely with the Goddess? Does your Mother Goddess have a name that you know Her by or do you call her only "Mother"? Do you acknowledge the other Gods and Goddesses of the various Pagan pantheons? I do hope you can share something of your theology so I can understand it better.

Thanks and blessings,

On a side note I was wondering does Tianic faith have any relation to Kwan yin? Or did it in the past?

It could. I know there was a tribe of Boat building fishers that joined with the Sainite for a few hundred years. In time they went their own way.
There were lots of friendly tribes that the Tianice shared knowledge with. It's just that we don't have every record of who what or where. Time and hunting us has thinned a lot of our books and records. There was a grand catholic burning of our people and our books. Then again maybe they are not related in any way but remember the ancient ways. >place shrug here<

There is no relation. The people of Tao-Min may have combined theologies but that would be pure speculation. There were other tribes that followed the ways of the Elden and other branches from those tribes.
Kwan yin was she not the one that received eleven heads and one thousand arms? It has been so long since I studied Buddhist and Taoist faiths, I could be confused.
