What does religious freedom mean?

Aug 10, 2012 Full story: The Washington Post 836

In the United States, Muslim women trying to maintain modesty should get female-only hours at the public pool , right? What about Wicca troops who want a chaplain of their own, even if there are only a few thousand of them in the military? And Catholic business owners who believe that contraception is killing - should they have to provide it to ... (more)

Nope. But don't worry. Violence is only justifiable as a last resort, but everyone who knows me will tell you, I am no pacifist.
Making threats isn't Justifiable, neither is any of your propaganda against the President. Go ahead though, nothing would please me more than to hear about the Secret Service Paying a visit to another loud-mouthed Jerk making threats against the president on the net....

Religious freedom means that every one in a state has the fully rights to pay his or her religious obligations without any distribence and obstacles like , in the Pakistan here a lot of "maslaqs" present on the name of Islam and they all have their own mind setup towards Islam and most of them are not know that what is right and what is going to be wrong.

Its so sad in the 21st Century, that we still argue over who's religion is the correct one. In an ideal world ALL religions should be separate from the state. Religion and spirituality are so personal pertinent to the individual. This is such and emotive and complex issue and will not sort itself out for millenia. Too much hatred and indoctination involved. Im not going to start ranting about what I agree with or not. Just suffice to say its an endless topic and one which will never be resolved. And for that I feel quite sad.

Freedom of religion means people can attack christians and christianity. All other religions are off limits. As you will notice from ALL of the posts on multiple forums here. If any other religion is attacks those people are called bigots, islamaphobes, racist, haters, etc.

Why is that...ask an atheist

The old saying is “turnabout is fair play” Christians persecuted everyone that was not a Christian for 1,300 years while they had the power. What do you expect?

Hi Big Al, nice to see you.

It seems to me the RCC does NOT believe in religious freedom, as they expect everyone to obey THEIR laws. That is not freedom.

Not to mention that criticizing those who call themselves Christian is a far cry from actual Persecution. Are they being fired in droves in this Country? Killed and/or burned out of their homes? No? Then they simply aren't being persecuted, they are being inconvenienced. Putting them in the exact same place as other religions rather than allowing them to receive some sort of preferential treatment is only right.
