Damn truckdrivers. He was prolly drunk or playing on a cell or fell asleep. Truckers don't care cause they figure in a crash, they'll be ok. Didn't work that way this time.

You seem real intelligent. I'm sure truck drivers think that way. You need to refrain from getting on topix.

Wow are some people stupid, Drunk Driver. I haven't read anything said about drunk driver involved. Just some "idiot" blaming a trucker before hand, sure truckers are involved in accidents and when they do they are alot of damages. But please know the facts before you say you are glad a person is dead before because he was drunk and caused an accident. personally I am praying for all victims. God Bless The U.S.A.

WOW! i bet UR parents are proud of the real idiot that they have raised and prduce to join us intelligent people here in society. i would why they would punish us like that. i would have paid for her abortion if i would have know she was gonna punish us with your presence. i have been a truck driver for over 20 years and i'm sure that driver didnt set out to kill a van full of innocent people. U never know, that driver could have had a heart attack while driving or he could have been trying to avoid someone in a car that cut him off or anything. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED! i bet UR the type of driver that waits until the last minute and then cuts a 40 ton truck off to get to UR exit and then wonders why he didnt stop his truck so U could get off instead of hitting U. education is the key and its obvious that U have been locked in a dark room all UR life......

As a wife of an OTR driver, I am appalled at one certain comment on this thread! I am equally disgusted at the lack of compassion that some have shown during this tragic ACCIDENT.
Just like some members of the Esh family have said, it was God's will for such a horrid thing to happen and who are we to question His will. Eleven souls are gone to Heaven and everyone should pray for all families connected to those who perished.

I want the defend all the truckers out there running American Goods to Businesses here in OUR COUNTRY.I don't believe in my own personal opion that this trucker did anything but suffered a medical problem of some sort.To me the tire tracks are to straight from the time of hitting the cables all the way to the rock wall.Surely if at all possible that steering wheel would of been turned to try and avoid something .If nothing more you should of been able to see some skid marks where he tryed to stop.I didn't see any evidence of this.As for the idiot on here saying this driver was druck especially at what 5 or 6 a.m. in the morning is just being an idiot there is always one in the crowd.Love and prayers need to be sent to all involved. My heart is hurting for the families from both sides and to all the Police,EMS,Fire Department and bystanders that was on the scene to help.I know each and everyone of them will never forget what the saw and it will take awhile to get over it.It was just something that ONLY god knows why had to happen and it just was there time to go reguardless if they were on that interstate or not .GOD BLESS
