Good for the Ethiopians. It is good to know that there are Lutherans who reject the theological insanity of the ELCA.

Congrats for your membership in the ELCA for forty (40) years +. And the ELCA is celebrating its twenty-fifth (25) year anniversary. THAT'S VERY INCLUSIVE. LOL

I was baptized as an infant into the Luthern Church-Missouri Synod and attended Grace Lutheran Day School on Springfield Blvd in Queens Village for 5 years. In 1966, much to my everlasting dismay, we moved to Commack, and when we did so, my family joined the local Lutheran church which at that time was a member of the ALC synod, which, after a merger with the LCA synod, became the ELCA synod in 1988. I was hoping not to have to explain that all, but you forced me to.

Since I have been a Lutheran for 57 years, its easier just to say I've been ELCA all my life, rather than listing all the different synods of Lutheran churches that I have been a member of, lo these many decades.....
