Well you can't say Obama isn't giving them a steady supply to work with. He sure gave Ben laden one hell of a baptism after putting a bullet through his head. Technically speaking I guess Ben Laden is still being baptized.
Gee, I did NOT know that Obama was in Afghanistan with the SEAL's!

I didn't realize that he had Military training

I did not even know that he was a marksman, capable of using semi-automatic weaponry.

Gee, silly me

(I DID know that he's sneaky, though)

You just hate it when things go right don’t you. You probably wish that the helicopter had crashed and Ben Laden was still alive. Too bad things didn’t work out that way for you.

Things went right because the teams were assembled, trained, and equipped LONG before Obama took his 16 hour nod.

Stephen Colbert is the owner and executive producer. If you have a beef with the content, believe me he's the one you're upset with.

That’s right. President Obama knows how to give a horse its reigns and let it run. He didn't just pass it off to some General either. He took an active part and complete responsibility for the decision. One of his mission parameters was the backup helicopter they turned out needing. It was the military and intelligence community smoothly working together under his personal supervision. One of the most significant things President Obama has done was put General Petraeus in charge of the CIA. This is the first time in its history that the CIA is not being run by a Bush buddy and is there for the benefit of the military. That is change I can believe in.

Q: I got a Bible from my aunt for Christmas, but when I started reading it I got all bogged down and after a few days I just quit. What am I doing wrong? I didn't grow up in a church or anything, so maybe that's the problem.-- M.R.

A: A church background might have helped you, but I hope you won't let that discourage you or keep you from discovering the Bible for yourself. You may even find it more exciting than some people do who have brushed up against it all their lives!

Part of the problem is that the Bible is different from any other book you've ever read. When you read a book, you naturally begin at the beginning and go straight through it, page by page. But the Bible is different, because the best way to discover its message is to begin at the center -- that is, to begin with one of the Gospels in the New Testament.(I often suggest people begin with the Gospel of John.)

Why is this? The reason is because the whole Bible revolves around Jesus Christ. The Old Testament points forward to His coming; the New Testament tells of His coming, and what He has done for us. Once you understand who Jesus was and what He has done for you, the rest of the Bible will become clearer.

The greatest discovery any person can ever make is that God loves them, and He sent His Son into the world so they could know Him in a personal way. Don't give up, but ask God to show Himself to you as you read the Bible. The Bible's promise is true: "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple" (Psalm 119:130).

..
see where he says to basically skip straight to the new testament?

I've recommended the same to several people who wish to pervert the Hebrew scriptures to justify theirs. I suggested ripping off the last fifth and keeping it for their very own. Why they even bother to print such a huge book, four/fifths of which they don't use for any valid purpose is beyond me.

If it's wrong, then let them get up and speak for themselves.....still waiting...
I guess, by lack of any out-rage, that either:
1. The dead don't complain. Do whatever you want.
2. God is in favor with the Mormons for this, hence his lack of action
3. God is imaginary, once again leaving it up to the dead (see 1)
4. For the purpose of "covering-my-ass", perhaps this is God's way of TESTING YOUR LOVE FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR! Nobody said you had to agree with him/her, just to love him/her AS YOU WOULD YOURSELF. Go ahead, let's see christians take a day off from protesting everyone elses business so they can relax and love a little..

Wrong again. Sea slugs are feeding on Ban Laden. President Obama is feeding on lobster. Now go eat you Big Mac and stop crying. President has achieved maximum effect with the minimum of force in his use of the militay.

<quoted text>Actually, that would be a good idea. The Christians have their New Testament, and most claim the 'Old' is irrelevant and been replaced.
Since they can't read it without translations, and have mucked much of that up, they should stick to their own book and leave other people's scriptures alone.
That is your opinion, however not true. The bible is one book. Without one the New Testement is meaningless.

Have Harry Reid release the 32 house bills he won't bring to the floor for a vote, ammendment or discussion......then we can see who has tried and who has lied.

You got that right. Obama said there were no WMDs in Iraq before the war started. Bush had all the answers for sure. 4000 dead troops and 33,000 wounded to protect America from the mushroom cloud.
