Is the baby name Koen offensive to the Jewish community?

My husband and I are wanting to name our son Koen (pronouned Ko-en - same pronunciation as the Jewish surname Cohen), however I have read that this could be offensive to the Jewish community because of the significance of the name Cohen. This of course would never be our intention, and in fact the name comes from the Dutch cyclist and was not meant to be an alternate spelling to the Jewish surname.

I appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

Dutch that just would be khn like cool i.e. sounding as.
Maybe it's best to ask the cyclist how he likes his name pronounced.
