In Jesus name..

For there has not been given another name under heaven by which we may be saved.." and I believe its found in the book of Acts.

However Jesus is the one we are publicizing and all, who preach Christ's words are 'prophesying'

And all true prophets must come in Jehovah Gods name.

That's why baptism into the name of the Father..is also important.

Because that's what gives us our legal standing..we come in Jehovah's name to bear witness to HIS CHRIST [anointed] JESUS.

This is what is written: the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Luke 24:46-47

46 and he said to them:“In this way it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from among the dead on the third day, 47 and on the basis of his name repentance for forgiveness of sins would be preached in all the nations—starting out from Jerusalem,

you got part of it correct, but not about the preaching on the basis of his name, which was the point of the post. the 46th verse was for context.

Luke 24:46-47

Luke 24:46-47 does not say anything about PREACHING on the BASIS of Jesus' name.

Luke 24:46-47 says that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be PROCLAIMED in His name.

You are twisting scripture to reflect the Watchtower's doctrines.

Those scriptures help explain why repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in Jesus' name.

This is what is written: the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Luke 24:46-47

Isaiah 53:5:
But He was pierced because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities;
punishment for our peace was on Him,
and we are healed by His wounds.

Hosea 6:2:
He will revive us after two days,
and on the third day He will raise us up
so we can live in His presence.

Deuteronomy 32:39:
See now that I alone am He;
there is no God but Me.
I bring death and I give life;
I wound and I heal.

the direct translation of the Greek is "on the name of him" it is not "twisting" it is just a different way of saying what was written.It is just a way of saying that what is preached has it's authority from Jesus, not the individual doing the preaching.
