When are you going to come clean and tell the Jehovah's Witnesses that you have been deceiving them about your involvement with the United Nations, blood, 1914, Beth-Sarim, the history of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society and all the other dirty laundry hidden in your closets at Bethel?

They know the old ones either die or leave. New ones do not know of their history.

How can they serve as the GB and not know the history of the faith? Surely they do.

The really sad thing is, the word Jesus wanted spread is treated as an Avon/Betterware catalogue being flogged door to door.

I'm not sure he wanted spread in this fashion.

The mags are a sham;o)

How can they serve as the GB and not know the history of the faith? Surely they do. I meant the ordinary Jehovah Witness. Surely the governing body know of the past history. But it appears they do not care.

I was talking with a Jehovah's Witness friend the other day and he said that he expects major changes in the religion as the older members of its governing board die off and younger members take their place. He thinks that the Witnesses will dump most of their goofy doctrines within the next decade and become like most other Christian religions.

I have heard this same thing....but then that would make them more mainstream and ruin all the years of effort to be so peculiar and oddball! LOL!

If these members feel their GB is WRONG and are teaching WRONG DOCTRINES that obviously need to be changed....who are they afraid of and why wait until they all die off?

If Armageddon happens to hit in the meantime.....the organization will be in deep doo-doo for continuing to knowingly teach their goofy doctrines as ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE and "bible truths".

Out of curiosity....
If I wanted to pick a relgion or cult to follow, which one would you recommend that was "perfect"?

WOW! If this were to be true, what will happen to those dis-fellowship as apostates before this?(wonder anyone knows how many were dis-fellowship since mid-1900?)

True. Nobody wants. But it seems no matter how, the way we interpret the Bible will somehow depend (to various degree) on someone who seem to give "reasonable" or "logical" understandings to it. It's just like being born. No one can come into existence on his own. God purpose someone before us to give us life. Hence, to certain degree, whether we follow the Church or a cult, somehow we follow someone. Sad truth about life isn't it?
