I will not answer the question because I have no idea why people do that. I would not do it, but they must have a reason why they do.. To condemn them for something I do not understand is wrong. However I do understand why Witnesses do what they do because I was one for so many years.
The words in the Bible (Which come from Jehovah God) are who condemn the idol worshipper.

I see karen you do not want to upset your friends with a true answer. Thats not really helping anyone is it karen?

In case you have never heard this, people starting saying bless you because it was thought that when you sneeze you open your soul up to demons coming inside you, so saying bless you kept them from entering you at that time. This is why JWs do not say bless you, I guess they wanted the demons to come inside. ;)
Now thats just stupid. People sure do have some crazy thoughts.

I do not say bless you, just because someone sneezed.
It's good to sneeze, clears out the air cavities in the skull.
Obviously you have a very large air cavity! Aside from the cobwebs and dust I'm not sure there's anything to clean! Would you like some pepper?

The words in my bible come from God, but the ones in your bible come from men who have no education in bible language translation.
I stick by what I said, I have no idea why some people do what they do, I will not condemn them for what I DO NOT UNDERSTAND like you do.

Some say.....
The origin of the "bless you" tradition is not entirely clear. The urban legend experts at Snopes.com list a number of possibilities. One involves the (hopefully) mistaken belief that a human’s soul might escape through a sneeze. Saying "God bless you" wards off Satan while the soul is temporarily vulnerable.

Another story veers toward the medical. Once upon a time, people believed that the heart stopped during a sneeze. A hearty "God bless you" set the ol’ ticker back in motion.

Interesting, but the most popular theory comes from the Middle Ages. During the bubonic plague, a sneeze was believed to be a sign of impending death. "God bless you" was "a way of commending his soul to the care of God." The phrase may have also come in handy to protect oneself if someone nearby sneezed.

Today, "bless you" is more a sign of good manners than a shield against death. If only folks were as courteous about other involuntary bodily functions...:-)

Not so silly after all is it? ;)

Do you believe that Jesus would approve of people that have an object of a gold cross blessed? And that is worship by the way, if they as far as to have thier object of a cross blessed, they no doubt kiss it to.(Pure Worship)
I believe Jesus hates that people would do this.
Who has crosses blessed? Is that a Catholic thing?

Christians are not required to obey anything simply because it has a cross printed on it.

Those in the Watchtower religion are required to obey any command given to them under the Watchtower logo or they face shunning, ostracizing, and condemnation to death.

It is undeniable that the Watchtower is an idol.

What I meant was that I'm not sure only Catholics do it! I doubt it because I have been in non denomination Christian bookstores where they sell blessed crosses!

For those who worship the watchtower yes, but who worships the watchtower?

It is Jehovah God who is worshiped.

All honor goes to Jehovah God and Christ Jesus, no where in the Bible scriptures does it say to show honor to an image of a cross.
