A Jehovah's Witness has provided the board with an excellent commentary regarding the newest DVD from the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society...

Unfortunately we haven't had our District Assembly yet. But from what I've seen of this DVD on the internet, it may be a fake. It might be an apostate plot to make the Organization look bad.
The mother in the video looked creepy, not like a real Witness mom. Did you notice her eyes looked demonized. And some of the props looked spiritistic. My feeling is it is an apostate DVD made to look like one made by the Society.
So brothers beware.
We don't know what powers Sparlock has, except for the fact that he can make at least one god sad.

A wizard named Sparlock
Was a very fine warlock
Until came the day
Caleb wanted to play
And Sparlock was thrown away

But it wasn't really tragic
Sparlock is versed in magic
So he conjured up a jinn
Who saved him from the bin
And pumped Sparlock full of win

Caleb learned a valuable lesson today.

"If my nut-job JW momma ever sees any more of the

great toys my friend gave she will guilt me into

throwing them in the trash bin along with

Sparlock. I'll make sure that

she never sees any of them."

Fast forward 10 years and Caleb will be just like

all the JW teenagers who lead double lives.

Congratulations, Anthony Morris.

You are fostering another generation of two-faced

JW's with your crazy illustrations.

Anthony Morris has admitted in his opening remarks to the DVD that the films are intended to have an impact on impressionable young minds.

Caleb returns home from school with a plastic toy wizard that one of this friends has given to him. His mother finds him playing with the toy, and though expressing initial excitement, she wastes little time in sitting Caleb down and explaining that the toy wizard is “something that Jehovah hates”. Without reading a single scripture in support of her arguments, she manages to convince Caleb that the toy wizard makes Jehovah “sad”. She impresses upon him that, if he were to choose to keep it, this would be an act of disobedience to Jehovah akin to Adam and Eve’s rebellion in the Garden of Eden. Caleb even imagines a snake tempting him with the toy, as though it is somehow satanic in origin.

Caleb is shown a picture from the Learn From The Great Teacher book (page 50) depicting Adam and Eve as a withered and miserable old man and woman following their sin. This somewhat scary and morose picture is shown as the consequences of disobeying Jehovah, but no explanation is given as to WHY owning a toy wizard constitutes an act of disobedience that would leave Caleb in a similar predicament to the first human pair. Caleb is merely informed that Jehovah doesn’t like the toy when his mother says:“So what if YOU disobey Jehovah, and play with toys he doesn’t like?” The key question of WHY Jehovah “doesn’t like” Caleb’s toy is by-passed as almost irrelevant.

The Society is now unashamedly producing films that seem specifically designed to rob a new generation of its reasoning ability.

Dear Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses,

As parents, Jehovah's Witnesses are charged with the responsibility to bring up their children “in the discipline and mental-regulating of Jehovah,” helping them to become ‘lovers of knowledge.’

Thank you so much for the new DVD so that our dear brothers and sisters in the truth can see for themselves just how crazy you dudes are and to what lengths you will go to brainwash our children.

Just what Jehovah'sWitness kids need, an imaginary "friend", since the cult attempts to isolate them from having any other child friends.
Disgusting and abusive.

Yeppers, a "friend" who is going to murder their schoolmates because they give them presents is a "friend" that every normal, mentally balanced child should have.

No wonder so many Jehovah's Witness kids turn to drugs and alcohol when teens, with their "friend" being some murderous evil god "jehovah"!
So glad that I was raised Christian until the age of 10 and learned the love of Jesus and God.
I do feel bad for any child raised from birth thinking some evil demon is just waiting to murder me if I didn't spend my minimum 10 hours a month selling enough propaganda!

I'm just thankful that I was also raised Christian until the age of 6 and learned the love of Jesus and God.

It's too bad my parents listened to some false prophets who told them the world would end in 1975 but they might survive if they joined thier exclusive club.

Sounds like we have similar experiences.
How and why they stayed after 1975 just shows that the brainwashing techniques of the WBTS do work.

When we all know that the "governing body" assured everyone that the "end" was most surely coming in the Fall of '75, because of their exclusive phone line to "jehovah' and that was the last year that most of the "generation" that was of age in 1914 was still alive.
It just could not be any other time.

Even as kid, I would argue that there was no way that "God" would murder people just because they weren't JWs. It makes zero sense to anyone but a brainwashed robot.

The brainwashing does work.

With the new video, the Society has forgotten one of the basic ideas from their cult indoctrination playbook.

Don't introduce the weird stuff until the new member is already well along.

There are so many positive Christian messages they could have chosen for the first video such as showing love to grandma and grandpa, kindness to neighbors, even witnessing to a friend.

Instead, they choose a goofy, negative message which only a fully indoctinated Witness would appreciate.

Just wait until they show this video to new Bible Studies such as young mothers with children.

Ya know, it really is a sad fact that Jdub kids learn early on not to trust their parents.

I personally had a private journal turned over to the elders (by my old man) and instead of them asking me why I wanted to kill myself and why there were entries that talked about physical abuse by my dad (which he called lies), they wanted to know why I was not spending more time out in service and how that would take care of all my problems.

Yeah, right.

I learned pretty early to not confide any personal thoughts or feelings to my parents.

“Is that the best you can do?”

The child claims that the toy is magic. Is the toy really magic? Not at all. It is simply the child's imagination.

However, the mother accepts that the toy is really magic, and rejects it based upon that.

Brilliant deductions.

She'll believe anything if it is crazy enough.
