1. The gospel
We both know that the gospel means good news,so why is it good news to sinners like us?

2.“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
So what is it about this message that saves us?

3. The death symbolizes life that Jesus opened for Adamic sin not the actually method of death.
If all Jesus had just opened the door, what's left to do?

Do you have the assurance of everlasting life now?

1 John 5:13 [nwt]
I write YOU these things that YOU MAY KNOW that YOU HAVE life everlasting, YOU who put YOUR faith in the name of the Son of God

According to scripture,you should.

Do you understand idolotry is? What you just described is idolotry.
Using an image to pray to God!
"If it is not God that gives us a sense of peace and security in our heart, then there will be an idol lodged there than deceives us into thinking it is our source of peace and security. That is how we recognise our own idolatry - search our hearts to see what we put our trust in. If it is not God alone, then we are idolators."
Can you see how your idol is the WTS/GB as you preach to come to an org of men rather then Jesus alone?
.
You are in the same boat as those you speak of. ALL the Christians I know do not idolize the cross but bow to the one who was crucified in our place.
.
Don't you believe what you are taught and that is to bow to Jesus, the one who was crucified in our place?
.
Or is what you say more of the double standards and double talking of false teachers who want all adulation for themselves as they take the seat of God and Jesus?

The 12/12/76 Awake! tells all you whiny zealots to stop wasting your time trying to draw connections between symbols and their roots.

"So the Christian needs to be primarily concerned about what? Not what a certain symbol or design possibly meant thousands of years ago or how it might be thought of on the other side of the world, but what it means now to most people where he lives."

"With so many different designs having been used in false worship, if a person went to the trouble and took the time he might find an undesirable connection with almost every design he sees around him. But why do that? Would it not be needless upsetting? And is that the best use of one's time and attention?"

Yup, so even if the cross was somehow linked to paganism, what counts is how it is viewed today, i.e. a symbol of Christianity.

My wife is Catholic and I asked her if she ever worshiped or prayed to the cross and she laughed. She said "what can praying to cross do....of course we don't pray to it. We pray to God like everyone else."

Uh oh! Someone should tell Jehovah's Witnesses this because they are all about believing people are praying to the cross and worshiping it.

The funny things is that in almost every definition of the cross, it is mentioned as a symbol Christianity.

Seems like there's a bunch of propaganda being hyped up by Jehovah's Witnesses.

I do have the basics, but we do not have the same beliefs, meaning one of us is wrong. So we MUST use the bible [Truth] to find which one is in error. So we must use scripture in the context to support our beliefs, agreed?

What scriptures proves that it's not?

If you are going to use the ones in the back of the nwt, they are taken out of context.

I'll be glad to show you how if you promise to stay UNTIL we both agree, agree?
