A sign of salvation...

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

JW's who distribute the Watchtower Publishing Company's magazine, the "WATCHTOWER" and books such as "WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH" are preaching the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses' tricky numerology along with their fake coming of Jesus and the lie that He appointed them to rule the world.

are you saying everyone that wears a cross worships it as an idol? can you prove that.

Are you forgetting the WT jewlery made and worn by some JW, the logo WT on their magazine folders, and TMS folders, perhaps they could say the same of some JW.

You know darn well the cross is worshipped. Anyone that says differently is ignoring the facts before their own eyes. Read the definition!

you are implying that everyone that wears a cross they worship it bow down to it, prove that.

The cross can be worshipped of cause it can, so can the GB, so can the logo of the WT if a JW wishes to, I believe the cross to be a pagan cymble, however that does not mean that a person worships the cross, some people wear it as a rememberance, or to them a Christian jewelery, as do some JW have worn WT logo as jewelery are they worshipping that logo.

If others denominations wore a stake or pole around their neck instead of a Cross would they be also be worshiping that stake or pole?

The point was you said that people that have a cross are worshipping that cross, I don't believe all do, they just wear it.

thats right that was my point anything can be an object of worship or idoltry, people wearing crossed does not mean they are worshiping it, for some its just a peice of jewlery, or a sign that they are a Christian.

The same can be said for anything, including the GB of JW or any logo they have on their material, or any Wt jewlery they wear.

looking back on it all now, it doesn't surprize me at all that jws hate the cross and dream up reasons to condemn any association with it.

i remember getting a jesus freak type guy at the door once.....he kept talking about jesus and giving him glory..... we were disgusted by it all, and went to the next door as we crossed his address off our list.

Strangly..had the JW's decided that wearing a cross was okay... And then another church had taken it to wear also.. The JW's would have dropped it like a hot potato.. heavens forbid that there might be something that other Churches do ..that they do..
That bible that is used by the churches is speaking to all believers in GOD.. IT wasn't good enough for them.. they had to make the name of their Church..stand out.. So they made their own bible.. I'm betting they do not even remember the scriptures they sighted years ago ..where the name was written.. The ones they so proudly showed to householders.. As the over use of his name has undoubtly obliterated it from their minds..

I didn't see the cross mention in the scripture. Show me a scripture that say you show worship the cross!
