A grandmother has not seen her six year old grand daughter for 18 months because her son is disfellowshipped. The six year old made the following comment to her mother.

"I think it was people who just made that (shunning) up and not God because I don't think he would do something such a nuisance. If you're in that religion when I'm a grown up and can't come to see me, I will still come to see you."

What sort of religion makes children think their mother may not want to see them?

Obviously...it would have to be a form of religion whose purpose is to separate and shred families. What religion FIRST comes to mind?

The primary goal is to keep nonJW family members away from WTS defenders to prevent them from fraternizing with what the GB says is "the enemy". If children are involved in this evil "cutting off"...the WTS shrugs and says "so be it".

Protecting the imaginary image of the ludicrous and extremely arrogant "WE are the only ones God approves"...takes precedent over anything else....including the precious family bond.

They also do this because they know that most people will not give up family is that to us is one of the most important things in our lives. So what happens, we stay inside right where they want you.

They do their best to stop family members getting together, by banning just about every celebration they can think of.
They say there is no need to go back and check how a certain custom started, but they also then say that most celebrations have pagan routes.
Just another instance of speaking out of both sides of their mouths.

THIS IS ONE AVOIDED BY THOSE WHO DEFEND THE ORGANIZATION OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES.

The last thing they want is this false organization to be exposed.

The truth will always expose false teachings.

One can see why this thread is an embarrassment to their supporters.

it just goes to show you that the anyone who would go so far as to invent a fake coming of jesus and then self-appoint themselves to rule, is not a nice person with just a little error in doctrine, they are wicked.

the jw gov body know exactly what they are up to and they don't care about you or your life or your family..... they just love to rule.

they twist scriptures around to keep members from figuring out what they are up to...... thats what that is all about, keeping their victims from talking to ex-members...... if they let them talk to former members, to many will figure it out and leave.

they sit around a table and dream up how to keep the trap going, then they have it printed up, and make a watchtower study about it.

It's just a control technique. This and other control techniques common among cults have been well documented in various books and studies (not strictly dealing with the Watchtower Society...some are about other cults altogether but it's still easy to see the parallels with the Watchtower Society).

This IS truly sad indeed! Children do NOT understand things like adults, so they are going to question them, and quite honestly they are REALLY smart at times. I have an 7 yr. old granddaughter, and she questions things alot, and is VERY smart with her questions.
I REALLY feel for this grandchild.

It keeps them busy to have to continue to promote their "Jesus invisibly chose us over all others" story and to keep up with the myth that their "door of their imaginary ark is closing any moment now".....oh wait....they revised this to their "overlapping generations" hogwash...this story can keep these frauds' leaky boat afloat for an indeterminate amount of time.

That is something I always wondered about. If they were so sure they had the truth, why would they be scared for their members to speak to someone of another faith, or someone who has left the organization? If you have the truth, you should be afraid of nothing. Why wouldnt they allow their members to go to non witness funerals or non witness weddings. Are they afraid of what they might hear and start to wonder about the organizations teachings on that matter?

yup karen, they have schemed and plotted.
just look at some of the jw pr reps here..... they do the same thing when confronted with the truth..... they lie, side-step, drag red herrings, skip the post, post nonsense till the truth is off the page, start a personal attack until the subject is forgotten.... anything they can think of.
... its all about keeping members in their clutches instead of setting people free in the truth of christ.

thats exactly what christ said it would be.... he said beware of those imposters because they would CAPTURE if possible those responding to the call of the word... matt 24;24...... i mean, there it is in black and white, A FAKE-INVISIBLE COMING OF JESUS.

the sad lesson i had to learn is that having all that bible knowledge has nothing to do with agapie love.... the jw gov body members don't have any.....all they care about is keeping the scam going..... i guess it must be fun enjoying their positions...... yuk

its really hard for an active jw to swallow that, though.... i mean, the jw gov body are exactly the opposite of who they claim to be..... it sounds absurd to an active jw..... until, of course, they get put through the wringer and start wondering what is wrong with this picture on their own.

The Jehovah's witnesses are a cult, and that is what ALL cults do, rip apart the family unit.
It is sad, and really is horrible for all of society
