One thing about doing reserch about the Freemasons is that they use a number of signs and insignias to represent themselves. You will find these at any bookshop selling books or on any Freeemason website. I have come across a number of WT publicatins that also contain the same symbols as the secretive society the Freemasons. All publications are published by the Governing Body for all jehovahs Witnesses (JWs). In the "Jehovahs Witnesses- Proclaimers of Gods Kingdom" book, page 64 has the Freemasonary "Laurel Leaves" on each side of the gravestone of C.T.Russell- founder of the now called JWs. On page 88 has the The freemasonary "Cross and Crown" surrounded by the Laurel Wreath (Leaf) Reed is displayed on the covers of the early WTs with the "DeMorley" helmet on the right. Look along is the sun-god with wings. Page 162 has the Pyrimid that has a glow comming from the top tip of the Pyrimid. This area is to house the freemasonary "All-seeing eye". Page 200 has the "Cross and Crown" (surrounded by the Laurel Wreath Reed) as a badge that they wore for many years. Page 201 has the "Manna" birthday bok that on the cover is the "laurel Wreath Reed" on the cover. Awake Feb 22 2004 page 12 has an article with the "Cross and Crown" on the edges of the page. if you turn up www.oldlighthousebooks.com shop find the report on "Everlasting Good News" assembly of jehovahs Witnesses dated June 30-Sept 8 1963. On the cover is the "Laurel Wreath (Leaf) Reed. if you do posses any of the WTs from the 1970s, you will fing either the Laurel Wreath or Freemasonary "sunrays" emulating from the titles ofmany subjects. You will also see this same wreath on the following magazines WT Jan 15 2006 p29 + WT Feb 15 2004 p26 displayed on our "shield of Faith". WT Feb 1 2006 p5 displayed on the clothes on Lots wife. And WT Aug 1 2005 p14 on a roman shield. Also on JW calander month of November 2006. So, this "Laurel Wreath Reed" is still being used today!

One extra thing, can you see the small WT symbol displayed on top of the title "Watchtower" on the WT magazines? Well, looking at the many medals and insignias that were produced during the wars through the publications at my local library,(which many of these medals displays the Laurel Wreath Reed), this WT symbol is , in fact, called a "Mural Crown", and it is NOT a watchtower as we have been told. Also, turning up the Freemason London Lodge webpage (under introduction), the term "Governing Body" is ALSO a Freemasonary term. The shield used by the London lodge has three WTs or Mural crowns displayed on it. So, both the Laurel Wreath Reed and the Mural Crown are STILL being used within the publications! So, are the Governing Body Freemasons?, and have not told anyone else (including the millions of Jehovahs Witnesses)about this?

As the Sun strides into fiery Sagittarius, ask yourself what does or does not motivate you to work. Do you take pride in carrying out daily tasks and responsibilities with efficiency? Does whether you work for yourself, or for someone else, make a difference to your attitude? Change is in the air, and change is often fueled by passionate emotions. It will be hard to keep such fires under control today, but if you keep the lines properly drawn, the outcome will be positive.

Actually it isn't so much that the governing body is or is not Freemasons, as it is that the theology the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses follows rejects the OMNIPRESENT GOD of Israel the same as other occult groups such as the Freemasons do that believe in a fragmented universe and a distant god(s).
This same primitive occult approach to a fragmented universe with a distant god is found in the Freemasons, the Rosicrucians and many other occult societies.
There seems to be some indication that Russel was a Rosicrucian, and then there is the matter of the Freemason emblems used by the Watchtower Bible and tract society. But the most important link is the rejection of the Jewish Jesus and the Jewish GOD that is shared by the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses with the other occult groups mentioned.
Judaism was unique in the ancient western world in recognizing the reality of the OMNIPRESENT GOD that is the foundation of our existence.
It is the GOD of Judaism upon which the historical Jesus based his ministry.
There was a problem with his message that concerned the Roman government at the time. The historical Jesus pointed towards the reality of all of us being one with GOD in an egalitarian cosmos.
This is in direct opposition to a government based on a patriarchal hierarchy in a fragmented universe with a distant god. So as a consequence of the teachings of the historical Jesus the Romans murdered him and blamed it on the Jews.
Every effort was made to discredit his message and the Judaism that it was based on. Over an eleven century period over nine million people were murdered to protect the image of the Roman version of Christianity based on primitive pagan myths, predominately the Mithra myth which provided the outline for the false Jesus enthroned in the Roman hoax of Christianity.
But there is another path besides the simple pagan amalgamation of pagan beliefs that is the Roman hoax of Christianity.
The word "occult" simply means secret. The occult path is based on the common delusion of a fragmented universe currently shared by most of humanity and actually leads people further away from GOD and deeper into this delusion with seductive promises of knowledge and power!
It is upon this so called secret or occult knowledge that such religions as the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses are based.
So in answer to the question posed at the beginning of the thread.
We can't say for sure if the governing body is Freemasons or not, but we can say that they worship the same false god(s), and can trace their origin to the same occult sources.
