God is not looking for perfect people. He knows we all make mistakes. Instead, God is looking for people who have hearts that love Him and are committed to Him, despite mistakes. Second Chronicles 16:9 states,“The Lord’s eyes scan the whole world to find those whose hearts are committed to him and to strengthen them.”
Think of all the imperfect people God used and whose lives He changed .He can use you and me as well , imperfect as we are .Give God a chance.

I agree. It is imperfect people Jehovah is using to preach the good news of God's Kingdom for a witness throughout the inhabited earth before the end comes.

They have done an outstanding job with the help of Jehovah's Holy Spirit. The good news has reached virtually every island, land and nation of the world.

It is part of the sign that Jesus gave in Matthew 24.

Matthew 24:14

King James Version (KJV)

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

So know that when these imperfect people knock on your door, you are seeing the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. They have a life-saving message about a wonderful Kingdom that will end all of mankind's troubles.

God is using them in a mighty way.

Bingo

The bible teaches that there False prophets so being that NO ONE IS PERFECT

God did condemn persons who were "imperfect" due to the Claims that they made

so being "perfect" was not even an issue

this is a red herring that jw throw up not realizing that FOLLOWING THEIR LOGIC it means that anyone can claim

"we-b-imperfect" and get a pass

yes jw don't allow any other denomnation on the face of the earth to invoke "Being Imperfect" when it comes to teaching dogmas not found in the bible

the jw denomnation does not allow anyone to claim Sincerity when teaching dogmas not found in the bible

the jw don't allow "our understanding wasn't clear" to be used by any oher denomnation that gets dogmas wrong

jw do not allow "wait on the Lord" to be invoked when errors are pointed out to another denomnation and its members say

they are waiting on the Lord Time table if the teaching in wrong

yet anyone who pointed out that the Gen of 1914 was DOA
Transplants were DOA- oral sex dogma was DOA

the jw would respond by saying one has to WAIT ON JEHOVAH to correct any errors

the wt has 2 sets of scales and we are constantly pointing it out for readers

i hate to break the news to you, but long before Charlie Russel came along with WT books, folks all around the world were getting baptized as followers of christ

sorry dude jw didn't get to any place on the earth and introduce the Bible to folks

Doctrines unquie to jw????????? well yes they did do that

but baptizing folks to become christains, that was being done long before jw came along

JW's don't believe it because the Watchtower magazine tells them that only they have been preaching the good news and baptising folks.

God knows we are not perfect

For Jesus says 'he comes to call sinners'

but God certainly wants to make us perfect.

Matthew 5 [48] You must accordingly be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect"

■Abraham on not one, but two different occasions fakes being his wife’s brother and lets kings try to to make his wife one of their concubines (Gen. 12:10-20 & 20:1-13). Yet, God worked through him to found what would become God’s chosen people, the nation of Israel and now the church.
■Sarah laughed at God’s promise to give her a son in her old age (Gen. 18:9-15). Yet, God used Sarah to help begin the family that would become the nation of Israel, God’s chosen people.
■Moses likely had a speech impediment and anger issues, and in fact killed a man, hid his body, and ran away for years (Ex. 2:11-15). Yet, God called him to lead the nation He established through Abraham and worked through him free His people from slavery in Egypt.
■Rahab was a prostitute living in Jericho when Joshua sent spies to study the city. Despite her heritage and nationality, she was faithful in hiding and protecting the men of Israel from the wicked leaders of Jericho (Josh 2).
■David was a “peeping Tom” and had a man killed to cover up having committed adultery with his wife (2 Sam 11-12:14). Yet, he wrote many of the Psalms, which portray a raw and honest faith, full of joy one day and full of angst the next, and he is described as being “a man after God’s own heart”(1 Sam 13:13-14).
■Peter is rebuked by Jesus as being the devil and, on the eve of Jesus’ trial, denies knowing him three times (Matt 16:21-23; 26:69-75). Yet, he was amongst the disciples closest to Jesus and became a bold preacher of the Gospel (Acts 2:14-41).
■Paul was an anti-Christian terrorist before his conversion (Acts 7:53-8:3), and he describes himself as “the chief of sinners”(1 Tim 1:12-16). Yet, he is the author of most of what we now read as the New Testament.
■Thomas saw Jesus after he resurrected and wouldn’t beleive it was really him until he touched his crucifixion wounds (John 20:24-29). Yet, he went on to be one of the apostles in the early Church.
Sometimes men will bring up ones past to discourage them but we can see God uses imperfect people ones others may think unlikely and of no use .
