Is the word "Rapture" in some Bible?

Christians will receive their new bodies at the Rapture. The Old Testament believers and the believers who die during the Tribulation period will receive their new bodies when they are raised from the dead at the First Resurrection. People who believed during the Millennial Kingdom and those considered worthy of everlasting life at the White Throne Judgment will receive theirs when they are judged righteous at that time, after the Second Resurrection.
Philippians 3:21
[Jesus Christ] who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.1 Corinthians 15:45-49
(45) So it is written:“The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
(46) The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
(47) The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.
(48) As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
(49) And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.
NOTICE THE WORD IS SPIRITUAL BODY NOT SPIRIT BODY
Christ plainly said that he was not a spirit being but a human being with flesh and bone. Furthermore, he used the expression,“I myself,” not something that he would have said if he were still “I” but somehow not “himself.”

Luke 24:39
Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost [ spirit] does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.
Since the Bible does not state all the capabilities of the new body, its capabilities cannot be described with absolute certainty. However, based on what is written, it is possible to make some reasonable assumptions. It has already been shown that his body was physical. However, since he could perform supernatural feats, it is reasonable to conclude that he has supernatural abilities. So I guess we have to wait and see but one thing we can be assured of it will be wonderful .

I have no Idea how this will take place to be honest, but I do know it says we will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. I have read that we shall be made immortal at that time, but honestly I do not know how it will be done. I do know that the bible says that flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom, so I believe that we will be changed in some manner. But I do believe in the Rapture of Gods people, he has protected his people before as in Noah's day and Lots day, so why would we assume that he would not protect his people at this time.
1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath
1 Corinthians 15:23 But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.
I know you hate answering questions but at least you can just try to answer the question i asked you without all the Fan Fare ....why do you not believe in the "fleshly Rapture" is it because it is not Biblical ?

no angels or god here in this forum to give the correct answer, most are only guessing
what the actual rapture will be.

so bible study by guessing what the scriptures are
it's total useless.

You did not say infant baptism, you said child, there is a big difference. I dont believe a child or person should be baptized until they can understand the reasons for it. Both of my grandchildren are baptized, one is 10 and one is 9, they both know and understand what the baptizm meant and why they were doing it.
As for what I meant by telling you what the scripture meant is so you would actually read it.:)
You are right i should have said "Infant"..... do JWs Baptize Infants ....Does Christendom Babtize Infants ?

Yes, that did come to mind. Instantly laughable but very sinister.

Only Christendom allow churchers to Babtise Infants and you know this .
Well good morning Snorkie-poo...
The act of infant baptism is not for the salvation of the child... The child is ignorant of what is taking place in the first place. He/she can no more accept or reject Christ as Savior than a brick. The child is innocent in the eyes of God at that age and as David said of his child of Bathsheba who died... I must go to him and not him to me...

What is being done during the infant christening is the "charging" of the parents, guardians, and the members of the household of faith in which the child will grow up in, to accept responsibility for the Christian teaching of God's Word and the edification and rearing of the child during it's formative years to the ways of christian life.

Now individuals of different walks may read something else into the baptism of a child or infant... but it truly relates to the adults pledging and taking on the responsibility of proper biblical training and living.

The act of sprinkling the water is more for the adults and does little but wet the child's head and upset him/her. It is more of a symbol as to the baptism that is to come once the child becomes old enough to make that decision.

If the parents do not plan to raise the child in a christian environment or those gathered make no attempt to due the same, then the baptism is just an empty religious ritual and a meaningless certificate. Theo

I tell you what, instead of wasting my time, just dont respond to any more of my comments and I will not respond to yours. And go ahead and say I am running because I cant answer your question, I don't mind, everyone knows how you are.

First of all, you have no idea what I believe. It may shock you to know that I do not believe in the Rapture with fleshly bodies, we will be spiritual bodies. I do not believe in child baptism, but witnesses sure do. I do not celebrate Christmas at all, but I do not condemn anyone who does, and I do not celebrate Easter, but do not condemn anyone who does. Hell fire, nope, but I do believe that a person will be damned for not serving the Lord. Once Saved always saved, yes, If you are really saved, you will remain saved because you love the Lord and will obey his word.
All you want is to sprout things you know nothing of. You come on here and call people silly names and promote your religion that lies constantly to you and 7 million others. I am not promoting a religion at all, but I am promoting Jesus Christ who is Your Savior. No religion, no organization on the face of this earth will save you with out giving your life over to Him.
Hey Karen,

just wondering if you would be willing to examine some of your beliefs in a biblical study with me?

Like the rapture of true christians and exactly what type of body we will have. And also the existence of hell-fire.

Completely up to you. But I am more than willing to examine these beliefs with you, using only the bible.

And in what way would we do this, through messaging, or here, or through email?

Wouldnt it be best if the viewers could follow and see exactly what the bible contains on these subjects?

Look, this is not a debate. Neither of these subjects are "salvation issues" as far as the bible describes. Just a loving discussion, where we provide evidence from scripture as to the truth.

If you are not comfortable discussing them in the open, that is fine. But there are many brothers and sisters that can help us on our quest for the truth. Loving people, such as Theo and Mary that are a wealth of biblical and spiritual knowledge.

Would it not be nice to have a LOVING bible study?

Yes I agree it would be nice to have a loving study of Gods word without the hate and name calling. I will be willing to try it, as long as the name calling and such can be ignored. If we do not respond to the name calling and things, it will still be read by those searching for the truth of Gods word.

I am only here usually in the mornings for about 2 to 3 hours, I am here now just because I dont feel very well and slept most of the morning today. I will be glad to add as much as I can, but I am still a babe taking in the milk.:)

Sounds good girl,

You choose which subject, and we will begin a new thread Monday morning. That way you will have a little time to prepare.

I would greatly appreciate any uplifting comments from fellow christians on the subject, Pat usually brings many verses and uplifting comments.

See ya Monday morning! We will start the thread then.

God bless

Anything is fine with me, if you want to start with what type of bodies we will have when we meet Jesus in the air is fine with me as well. Or anything else that you think would be better. As for right now, I have to go wash this hair color out of my hair, LOL. See You later, and have a great weekend. May the Lord bless you and yours.

The Warning

In Revelation 22:18-19 God through the Apostle John gives us a warning. The first part of the warning is in v. 18 and it is about adding words, that is, including extra written words in the book. If someone, upon those words being written in the original manuscripts, shall add to those words, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book. The words are written in the book. And there is a play on words here obviously. If someone were to add words to the book, he would have added to him the plagues in the book, that is, this person must be an unbeliever. You will notice in the book of Revelation that the plagues come upon unbelievers.

The second part of the warning is in v. 19 and it is about taking away words of the book. If someone were to take away words from the book—another play on words—God would take away his part out of the book of life and out of the holy city. It doesn’t say that God would take someone’s already recorded name out of a book, but his part. Someone can’t have his name removed from the actual book anymore than he can have his person removed out of the holy city. His “part” is what he would have had in the book of life if he had not been a person who would tamper with scripture. Anyone who is saved wouldn’t show the Bible this kind of disrespect. Parallel with the adding, this part of the warning about taking away judges the person to be an unbeliever.

These warnings are commands against any alteration of the words of this book. Not one word should be changed.“Add” and “take away” speak of additions and deletions. What is written in Revelation would have been and continues to be very unpopular. Some of the audience of those letters to the churches would receive it with anger. So a strong warning is given. Doctrine can rise and fall on one word, even one letter. God doesn’t want any changes to the words written in the book.
