TO ALL BODIES OF ELDERS

Re: Kingdom Ministry School
Dear Brothers:

Final arrangements are being made for the upcoming Kingdom Ministry School & we are now pleased to provide you with some additional information & direction. A revised, softcover textbook entitled "Shepherd the Flock of God"- l Peter 5:2 has been prepared in connection with the school. In addition, lapel cards are being provided for elders & MSs for use as identification upon entry at the school location and during the course. The appropriate number of textbooks will be shipped to the mailing address of the CoBoE when the textbooks become available in the language of the congo. The lapel cards will be shipped to the same address at a later date. Copies of the textbook that were requested in languages other than the language of the congo will be sent to the CO for distribution.

The CoBoE should immediately give each elder a copy of the Shepherding textbook. However, the lapel cards should be kept in a safe place until the week before the school. Then he should give the appropriate card to each elder & MS. This may prevent cards from being lost. The lapel card should be worn when entering the school location & at all times during the school. We will leave it to each elder to decide what he will do with his 1991 Kingdom Ministry School textbook. If he decides to keep the book. he must make sure it is put in a secure place so that others do not have access to it. Otherwise. the book should be completely destroyed.
We would like to emphasize the importance of keeping these new textbooks secured & confidential, both before & after they are distributed. The textbooks should not be left on tops of desks or in other places where they are easily accessible by family members or other individuals. The information is designed for use by the elders only, & other individuals should not have any opportunity to read the information.

If an elder has moved away & you have an extra textbook or lapel card or for some other reason you have extra textbooks or lapel cards the CoBoE should hand-deliver them to the CO. He should not send textbooks or lapel cards through the mail. If your CO is a considerable distance away, the CoBoE may give him these items the next time he sees the CO. Likewise, if for some reason you do not receive enough textbooks or lapel cards. the CoBoE should contact the CO for assistance.

(segment 2)

We are providing the textbooks to elders in advance so that you will be able to read the book through before attending the school. You will want to concentrate particularly on chapters 1, 2, 4-7,9, & 11, since they will be considered specifically at the school. In addition to your Shepherding textbook. please remember to bring your Bible. Organized to Do Jehovah 's Will, Benefit From Theocratic Ministry School Education. & some note paper. In the Organized book, you should review chapters 3 and 7. along with pages 117- 119. In the Minislry School book, you should review pages 47-55, 130, and 265-27~. Please~ advise MSs that in addition to their Bible & note paper, they should bring their Organized & Ministry School books. They should review the same material in the Ministry School book as the elders, & in the Organized book, they should review chapters 6-8, along with pages I 17-119.
You will note in chapter 5, paragraph 9, of the Shepherding textbook that a change in terminology is being introduced. A new term, "brazen conduct," will be used in addition to " loose conduct," or in some cases instead of "loose conduct." This new term has been cho!ll';n by the Governing Body because it more accurately conveys the thought of the original Greek word that is translated "loose conduct" in the New World Translation.

The Governing Body desires that elders & MSs in each congo attend the school at the same time. However, if an appointed elder or MS is not able to attend with the elders & MSs of his congo because of extenuating circumstances, he can contact his CO for the dates & locations of schools in neigh boring circuits. The CO will then contact the neighboring CO & request permission for the brother to attend. The brother's CoBoE should provide him with a lapel card. If he attends the school before other elders or MSs in his congo, he should be instructed to keep the information strictly confidential until after the other brothers from his congo have attended.

Any brother appointed as an elder or MS in his congo may attend the school. If new appointments are made, the CoBoE should inform the CO of this so that the brother can receive the appropriate lapel card, & a new Shepherding textbook if he is being appointed as an elder. If an elder or MS is in the process of transferring from one congo to another & comes with a favorable recommendation from his former congo, & if the CO has not yet served his new congo since his move, then the CO should provide him with a lapel card. If the CO has served the new congo & the brother has been recommended for appointment to the branch office, then the CO would also provide him with a card. However, if the CO has visited the new congo since the brother moved in & the body of elders did not recommend his reappointment for some reason, then he should not attend the school.

We are looking forward to this special program of instruction, & we pray for Jehovah's rich blessing upon all the arrangements being made for the Kingdom Ministry School & upon your efforts to shepherd the flock in a fine way. Although there is much material to prepare before attending the school, the most important thing to prepare is your heart.(Ezra 7:10) If you do so, Jehovah will truly bless your diligent efforts. Please be assured of our warm love and Christian greetings.

Your brothers,

cc: Traveling overseers

PS to secretary:

There is no need for this letter to be retained in the congo permanent file of policy letters. Additionally, the September 16, 1991, and June 20, 1994, letters to all bodies of elders should be removed from the congo file & be destroyed. You may wish to update the congo copy of Index to Letters-For Bodies of Elders (S-22) at this time as well

So....

Will you read the new 'Shepherding' KS-10 when it becomes available via upload?

Why or why not?

Any additional thoughts on the LTR?

In a moment of glib rebellion....yes I wrote that introduction in the ladies room at my SpAD.

All in all it was a private joke between me and a congregational SEC that went deeply overboard.

The book will start becoming available to the general elder population in the USA in October.

Should I be passsed a link will you find yourself comparing the KS91 to the KS10?

Since you read the origianl thread on JWN does that mean you will be popping by for a looky-loo at the AGM notes?

New terminology interesting. "Brazen Conduct" possibly meaning; wilful, thoughtout, planned sexual misconduct. Instead of "loose conduct" meaning; moment of weakness, completely caught off guard, s/he made me do it. I hope we all don't burn in hell for reading this! Tomorrow when don't see me, you'll know I was struck by lightening. I'm experiementing so if I die everyone else will know not to next time.

I will be reading the 'KS10' since it will refute all the apostate criticisms and negativity of your fellow JWN'ers. Not sure what you see in them.

What are AGM notes?

...I remember an Elder giving a public talk about how witness are not like Christiandom.

He said Christiandom had its theocratic schools and theocratic studies. But we brothers we have Jehovah gods Word, we don't need all those men made ideas of wisdom we are disciples for Jesus, we have the Bible brothers, we don't need anything else."

However it appears they have lost the spirit, so they are going to need more and more clutter of theocratic junk

They need to stop comparing the differences between the Catholic Church and the JW's. They are bad Jehovah hates them but we are good Jehovah loves us. Jehovah says those who judge will be judged. Do they think He is talking just to hear Himself talk?

AGM notes: "Annual General Meeting" notes, we have had this event since the beginning! I am a bit shocked you didn't discern... everybody loves AGM notes as they are a 'sneak peak' of what to expect in the coming year.

Gosh the AGM gets me to singing 'it is the most wonderful time of the year'

Should history repeat itself we should see procedural or structure changes!!!!

I have said it many times these are 'exciting' times to be observing the WTS!! The likes not seen since Rutherford's day!!!

PS if you haven't taken advantage of the provision yet...... vocal renditions are now available on JW.org for the new songs!!!!

They are becoming more cultish as their time of judgement approaches.

Majority of the recent 'cultiness' has been due to Heaven-Newboy Ted.

Him gone, the WTS leaders discerning time marching onward for their natural lives, information age, donations down and general changes to the way society at large perceives things....... those things will either force the WTS to peter of into oblivion or do more than merely rip off the LDS over FWN!

Ted's claiming his heavenly reward only recently also means we will continue to feel his 'presence' in WTS policy and politics for a couple of years.

Yknot,

Can you explain who Ted is? Is he a younger person saying he is one on of the 144,000? Thanks!

Hi Ghostface3,

"Ted", is the somewhat recently departed, Theodore Jaracz.

Theodore Jaracz...

Appointed to the GB in 1976. Allegedly done so by Knorr to be a 'payback'. Was called 'The Boss'and assumed leading GB personality after Milton died.

He started partaking just shortly before the development of the GB in 1971. Was the youngest ever CO. Was removed from Bethel-Oz over unknown reasons. Was not well liked by those who worked close with him. Hand picked GB 1999/2005 class.

Born in 1925, died 2010

The current youngest GB is Geof Jackson (born 1955).

The 1935 sealing was 'evidently' an error and the anointed calling is now back in full swing! I am not sure who would be the youngest as Bible Students were dipped young and all thought they were anointed prior to 1930s.

As of the July 15, 2010 WT-SE. only GB receive interpretational guidance from the HS.

We unofficially have 3 classes:

Anointed-GB
Anointed None-GB

So, if you're a Witness, why do you socialize with Witness bashers and apostates at JWN? Seems odd.

And why take such a fleshly view of the organization?

Honestly....

There are those 'mother' trains-up to obey without question and others who she teaches to learn from her actions.

If not then there would be no one left to take the lead as time marches on.

I am not doing anything that I wasn't trained-up to discern.
__________

What is your excuse for association on Topix [reading JWN]instead of seeking wholesomeness via private Yahoo groups?

I am always baffled by 'base' JWs who fail to heed clear counsel onthe matter.

1. Topix is not apostate run. JWN is. Although I do not feel that is necessarily an issue.

2. Reading JWN is not the same as participating there, although I would not necessarily be averse to that.

3. Primarily, I am on Topix to debate and refute falsehoods. On JWN, you seem to be with them like they're your friends. THAT baffles me.

4. I do not participate in apostate whining and speculating as is common on JWN.

5. Participation on internet sites is not forbidden.
