This is a pilot project.Apparently, the are in the subway system as well.
When i saw it, at first glance. I thought it was the scientologists Then when i looked closer. I realized it was us.
Cool! Great idea. We have an amazing cross section of people in the city.

It may be hard to get attention today, but not tonight! Take time during the day for some serious soul searching and to review the highs and lows of the past year. The Twins are entertaining, witty and communicative, but tend to be flighty and crumble under pressure. Make new resolutions that you stand a good chance of sticking to:'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.' Give thanks to the Universe for the many blessings that you have. Tonight you ARE the party!!

Now this is cool and folks can now demonstrate publicly how jw deal with theological error

See when jw come to your door they will try to leave and say let me bring BACK someone who can answer this for you

Now they are pinned down at their stand and all onlookers get to see for themselves. Excellent way to expose jw

This is going to be funny

I guess they will pack up and leave. Imagine asking a jw why do you not speak to former jw who become catholic or baptist Christians

The baptist and Catholics still speak to those who become jw. Lol

I saw it as a well made pr vehicle of the WT Corp. It still seems deceptive to me because I suspect that most, if not all, of the participants were JWs.

Ha, ha, ha. Now this is funny, especially coming from old jace. One thing for sure, they will not be pinned down by jace, the man with little or no Bible knowledge.

This was funny!

"Trying a new approach" most likely because people don;t come to the door.
I am surprised they think this is new stuff!
They set up in malls here and have for many years.
In the 90's we were on vacation on the coast and saw tables set up in shopping malls with books and brochures and magazines. I stopped and talked to them about how they were doing. They said they placed literature with just about everyone that actually STOPPED to talk or look.
They alos said they had a sign up sheet for volenteering to stand or in a few cases, sit, by the tables. They didn't approach anyone. They let the people come to them. Easy peasy.

They did it here in the Valley Plaza for a short time. I guess it didn't work out too well because they quit doing it.

This isn;t anything new except maybe there in a large place where more people walk by. I remember how all the older sisters and even I told new sisters when taking them out in service, "Don;t be discouraged if you don;t place anything or people slam the door in your face. It is a witness anyway because they have to think'Jehovah" when they see you."
We NEVER said it was a witness for Jesus and his Kingdom, it always putting the name Jehovah in peoples minds.

It is a cult. Plain and simple.
No doubt God can use it to his advantage as well as Satan.

<quoted text>WTBTS wouldn't ever falsely advertise. They just don't operate like that.
Believe it or not. Not all non-believers are opposed.
Those were real people that they encountered in the field that obviously volunteered.
One man wasn't even talking WTBTS doctrine. He just liked the message.
Try not to be cynical. This was real.
I once believed that.

Back in the 1950s or 1960s, a book was written, supposedly by a "worldly" author all about Jehovah's witnesses and how wonderful they were. I found out that the book was done with the support and help of the WT. I do not want to spend the time searching for details, I think it was written by McMillan or something like that.

Ok, changed my mind.

http://archive.org/details/FaithOnTheMarchByA...

Faith on the March by A.H. Macmillan. Recounting of the history of the Watchtower/Jehovah's Witness' movement in an autobiographical style by A.H. Macmillan, who worked with Charles Taze Russell, "Judge" Joseph F. Rutherford and N.H. Knorr. Macmillan was baptized by the Bible Students in 1900 and served at Brooklyn Bethel headquarters from Russell's time up until his death in 1966. His life story also appeared in the August 15, 1966 Watchtower. Text is available at several places on internet as copyright has expired.

They have a table set up here in Sac. at the American River College, my son takes some classes there. He has talked to them a few times.

A Christian ministry also has a table near them and my son has joined them in giving the Gospel message. He has some very interesting experiences.
