History is filled with clowns predicting dates for the end of the world

Just think the jw GB is just as clueless as the Mayan were

Ole Father Time has a way of making fools out of those who dare to challenge the statement No Man Knows

When will people learn??

I don't believe the Mayans predicted the end of the world but the end of a cycle!

The Mayans were much smarter then the JW!

What is clueless is the people who read more into the Mayan writings than was intended. That happens a lot!

The Mayans only predicted ONE date.

How many different dates have the Jehovah's Witnesses predicted?

This is what Jehovah's Witnesses really said:

*** WT, January 1, 1908 (reprint) page 4110 ***

With regard to 1914: "We are not prophesying; we are merely giving our surmises ... We do not even aver that there is no mistake in our interpretation of prophecy and our calculations of chronology. We have merely laid these before you, leaving it for each to exercise his own faith or doubt in respect to them"

*** WT Oct 15, 1966 page 631 ***

With regard to 1975:‘What about the year 1975? What is it going to mean, dear friends?’ asked Brother Franz.‘Does it mean that Armageddon is going to be finished, with Satan bound, by 1975? It could! It could! All things are possible with God. Does it mean that Babylon the Great is going to go down by 1975? It could. Does it mean that the attack of Gog of Magog is going to be made on Jehovah’s witnesses to wipe them out, then Gog himself will be put out of action? It could. But we are not saying. All things are possible with God. But we are not saying. And don’t any of you be specific in saying anything that is going to happen between now and 1975.

What is wonderful is that Jehovah's Witnesses have been awake and on the watch throughout this whole time of the end and will still be wide awake and on the watch when the end comes.

We are not excited when false predictions arise, and we don't give up because expectations do not pan out.

(Habakkuk 2:3)

3 For [the] vision is yet for the appointed time, and it keeps panting on to the end, and it will not tell a lie. Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late.
.
.
(Matthew 24:13-15)

13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.

14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end WILL come.

What are you going to do with this one?

mark the words of Jesus, which definitely seem to discourage the bearing of children IMMEDIATELY before or during Armageddon .. It would therefore appear that there is no reasonable or scriptural injunction to bring children into the world IMMEDIATELY before Armageddon, WHERE WE NOW ARE." {WT Nov 1 1938 324}

The children would be 74 years old today.

What's kind of funny is that Jace seems to think that the Bible's prophecy of the end of the world is no better than the pagan Mayan's prophecy of the end of the world.

Jehovah's Witnesses preach the Bible prophecy because they trust the Bible over the ancient Mayans.

Jehovah's Witnesses preach the Governing Body's interpretation of Bible prophecy relating to end times because they trust them over what God's word says...

Now concerning that day or hour no one knows—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son—except the Father. Watch! Be alert! For you don’t know when the time is.

and don't forget that GENERATION OF 1914 FAILED DOGMA

YES Gareth always seems to tell ONLY HALF THE STORY

Gareth why do you march out that your religion Surmises or guesses stuff as if that actually makes your denomnation look good

i have never understood why you actually think pointing out to readers that your dogmas are full of man made guesswork is impressive??

you are silly man

telling folks that your doctors GUESSES where folks kidney and liver are located isn't really a good invitation for folks to want to try that doctor

Watchtower of 15 December 1953 said this:

"If the Bible actually teaches a doctrine, then and then only should it be accepted. If it is speculation, human theory, some man’s idea, it should be rejected."

Gareth do you know how many of the wt doctrines WERE DOA and yet jw were forced to accept them and teach them to billions while other folks were telling you guys that the WT editorial staff was CLUELESS ON THAT POINT

gareth teaching folks that a mate sleeping with Fido is not grounds for remarriage DUDE COME ON!!!!!!!!!

Jace is so destined for failure and disappointment.

He demands perfect men with perfect superhuman knowledge and ability.

There was only one man who fit that description, and he appointed imperfect human men to run his congregation.

Jace doesn't get to say how Jesus Christ exercises his headship over true Christians, but he may die trying.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE of how jw literally EQUATE WHAT THE WT WRITERS SAY WITH WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
but more importantly how they will literally lie in a public forum and show no shame

we need jw supporters like Gareth doing this to CONFIRM WHAT WE SAY

JW VOLUNTEER TO DO IT TO THEMSELVES

folks i can't make this stuff up you are reading it for yourself

i stated the following:

"jace wrote:

DID you not notice i said Predicting Dates???????

then Gareth says:

"What's kind of funny is that Jace seems to think that the Bible's prophecy of the end of the world is no better than the pagan Mayan's prophecy of the end of the world."

now all readers can see I never said that. read it for yourself- The bible has not predicted A DATE. NOW AS students of the bible we all know that

so why would Gareth attempt in a public forum to say that??

we all know the wt has PREDICTED DATES AND THEY FAILED- Jesus said NO MAN KNOWS WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN-

Gareth showing folks that you are Liar is so easy

Gareth my boy you lied on me and everyone GETS TO SEE IT

I CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP FOLKS- YOU ARE reading gareths on words NOT MINE

What Lessson DO YOU THINK I AM TALKING ABOUT?

Not to talk about the Bible End Time prophecy or not to set A DATE?

w58 10/15 p. 613 What Will Armageddon Mean for You?

“SOMETIME between April 15 and 23, 1957, Armageddon will sweep the world! Millions of persons will perish in its flames and the land will be scorched.” So prophesied a certain California pastor, Mihran Ask, in January, 1957.1

"Such false prophets tend to put the subject of Armageddon in disrepute."

AND show love to their fellow man.. do have their EYES.. open.. It's is a everyday forwarded motion in developing the fruitages of the Spirit.. FAith in GOD.. not the false..(CRY WOLF) of men.. And the love of thy neighbor.. Does not pick and chose which neighbor... One never know..that by their mere actions they could turn a heart to GOD.. OR away from him..
