The right church is not a denomination or organization.

Find Jesus and you become a member of His church and, if you pray about it, Jesus will direct you to a gathering of Christians.

I agree with you..except one point ..Jesus gathers us to HIM, he never directs us to anyone else.

He is the Leader, THE KING..and scripture states " However if we are walking in the light as he himself is in the LIGHT , we do have a sharing with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."

Christians are living stones used to build the temple of God..and Jesus is the chief cornerstone.

It never has been about bricks and mortar..thats the sort of Kingdom that Nimrod built.

And he has nothing in common with Davids seed , that Jehovah told King David , would come from him and build his temple.

Where did Jesus say he would be found?

*** Matt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."

That's right. It is no use looking for Jesus under the bed, in the wardrobe or locked away in a small box at the bottom of the garden.

Jesus is with his congregation. He is there when you meet with true Christians.

So, in order to fond Jesus you must find the true Christians, the ones among whom Jesus exists.

Obviously then, not any old congregation will do. You have to find the right one. That is where Jesus said he would be. Jesus did not say that there were many roads leading to salvation. No. There is only one road, a narrow one and few are the people who find it:

*** Matt 7:13,14 "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and difficult is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.

How do we find the right congregation?

By comparing their teachings with what the Bible says. There is no other test.

Jesus said " where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in their midst"

Can't read there that we have to be in some building

Paul when writing to the Corinthians ended it with " The congregation [church] of Asia send you their greetings , Aquila and Prisca, together with the congregation [church] that is in their house..."

Showing the congregation [church] is in our own homes even when we meet together in Jesus name.

Most of all pray to Jehovah God and ask for holy spirit and guidance:

*** John 16:23 "In that day you will ask me no questions. Truly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."

It is interesting that Bible prophecy tells us that God's people in the last days will be known by his name, "Jehovah":

*** Acts 15:14,15 Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations, to take out of them a people for his name. This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,

Simeon then quotes Amos 9:11,12

*** Amos 9:11,12 In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name," says Jehovah who does this.

So it is interesting that Jehovah's Witnesses are called by Jehovah's name - just like the prophecy.

If everyone followed these instructions from the Bible, I John 4:1..."Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
There would be ZERO jehovah's witnesses in the world.
In John 5:39-40 Jesus says,“You are searching the Scriptures, because you think that by means of them you will have everlasting life…And yet you do not want to COME TO ME that you may have life.”

Jehovah’s Witnesses are constantly “searching the scriptures”, but do they come directly to Jesus as he says they should (Mt 11:28, Jn 5:40)?

Do Witnesses “come” to Jesus by praying directly to him?

NO! It's not allowed by the Governing Body, who make all the rules for jehovah's witnesses.

The witnesses are exactly like the people Jesus was talking about in John 5:39-40!
