I just don't see the point of this sort of demonstration. No-one comes out of it well.

You have no life cause you study the Urantia!
The man came out a winner,
The JWS showed aggression and anger and one of them lied about being a police officer.
And after all their anger the guy still got to stand their with "this generation by no means shall pass away" 1984 WT cover.
The end result is that its on youtube for ALL to see.The man did a great service.Keep in mind I would be on the JWS side if the guy caused a ruckus but he handled himself very well and was confident.
Lets recap:
JWS showed aggression
JWS lied
JWS broke the law
It's all on youtube to see
The man showed no aggression
The man didn't lie
The man didn't break the law
It's all on youtube to see

If you can't even get the name right (i.e. urantia = earth...I don't study "earth"), please don't try to mock it.

Studying that book opened me up to people so I don't judge them by their religion - take a look (go on, don't be a coward), you'll be amazed at the positive changes in attitude:

I don;t think "no life" is the case. anytime you can help someone else avoid making decisions that can adversely impact their life, that cannot be considered a waste

The question I ask is - Is this the most effective way to help persons

All the intimidation of 6 elders at the same time with 100lbs over him in bodyweight individually could not stop the apostate.
And the elder falsely impersonating law enforcement will have a very long trial.SO LONG HE WILL BE DOING NO DOR TO DOOR WORK.
I found it sad that the dubs don't realize that their enemy isn't this guy, and their enemy isn't Satan. The enemy of dubs is actually the same force that is the enemy of this fellow....the Watchtower clergymen.

The Governing Pharisees are the dubs true enemy. Some can't figure it out, and some are deeply suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

It's funny seeing silly JWs trying to deny this man the very rights they went to court to uphold when law enforcement tried to stop them from preaching and assembling!

As if they dont realize the first amendment is for all US citizens!

Please folks keep in mind these Are NOT THE SMOOTH GUYS. Who run bethel they represent the society's nightmare

Wt has tons of unqualified men given power and authority everyday

The only qualifications are does the man. Hawk books for us

They are not trained given any guidance
Profession security forces are trained to handle persons

We see this on the Congo level
Men with no training handling major crimes of rape and child molestation

For years elders had the child and the rapist in the same room

Tasking untrained persons to write articles that contain Greek words that they don't understand to fold who think they can impersonate the police

Despite the wt teaching that men who carry guns can't be used in the Congo let alone on the district and circuit level

Once again wt is left with wacky men in charge

He was not shouting, yelling, screaming or acting inappropriately.
He was not being disruptive at the time those portly elders decided to surround him and get aggressive and lie.
Which is why if you notice the end of the video he is still on the grounds because he did NOTHING illegal.
It's ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENT than a JW coming to someone's door and witnessing.
Now the JWS have to live with LYING ON CAMERA AND CLEARLY BEING THE AGGRESSORS.
It's one thing if the man was acting like a lunatic and was a danger to the people but he was acting within the laws and perfectly rational.
Exactly.

He just didn't fit in and the JW elders wanted him outta there.

Seriously this is the one organization where poorly educated, unqualified men are given much responsibility and authority. But when they are taught to believe God hands down their appointments, I can see how it goes to their heads and they power trip!

Here is a list of what men with GEDs are tasked with...

Investigating serious crime
marriage counselor
mental health physicians
law enforcement
theologians/scholars
career counseling
bible prophecy

Somehow without any formal training or credentials, the rank and file look to their shepherds for all those things.

I can't remember whether I told you this or that I meant to tell you.....but my 3rd son (now 53), lived in TX as a cook on an offshore oil rig....and he was an avd Urantia reader. He hosted a chat room on AOL under the Urantia title. I was still a loyal JW at the time so he never shared this info with me out of respect for my (then) beliefs. I spoke with him a couple of weeks ago and told him of my interest in the subject and he was blown away, LOL!

Funny how some things tend to work out, eh?

Haha, well when you read that book for the first time you just want to tell everyone about it (shout from the rooftops about an amazing book that fills in all the gaps of Jesus' teachings), but then, when you see the apathetic responses from people, and the mocking, it disheartens you to the point where you expect the worse response. So your son would be blown away because it's so life changing and when you hear someone close to you wants the same thing it's wonderful!

very true they would parade outside churchs with slogans one being religion is a snare and a racket, they would drive up the streets outside churchs with their loud speakers vilifying all religions.

And no doubt many used to be from those religions so they are apostates also, and doing same as this guy.

OR MAYBE HE WAS AT THE CONVENTION to warn of the lies and deception of the watchtower cult, to expose the history of the false prophecies that have led millions of people astray.. MAybe he was obeying ...
"Donít participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead, expose them. "
Ephesians 5:6-11

It seems that the watchtower is the only cult that can criticise others and not be accused
of persecuting others....but when they have a taste of being criticized themselves, the cry goes up
"oh we are being persecuted, we are being attacked, oh poor us " what a laughing stock they
make of themselves, it would be funny if it wern't so sad...

I happen to agree with the Watchtower when they teach Quote......... "Can there be false religion?
It is not a form of religious persecution for anyone to say or show that another religion is false .
It is not religious persecution for an informed person to expose publicly a certain religion
as being false, thus allowing persons to see the diference between false
religion and true religion.
To make a public exposure of false religion is certainly of more value than exposing a news
report as being untrue;
It is a public service instead of religious persecution and it has to do with eternal life and
happiness of the public.
Still it leaves the public to choose.
Watchtower 11/15/63.. p.. 688

I also agree when they say....

"When persons are in great danger from a source that they do not suspect or are being misled by those
they consider their friends, is it unkindness to warn them? They may prefer not to believe the warning
they may even resent it. But does that free one from the moral responsibility to give that warning?"
(W.T Jan.15, 1974 pg.35)

The Watchtower says it is not persecution to criticize or show that another religion is false,,
or does this only apply to Jehovahs Witnesses who criticise other religions.....
For well over 130yrs the WT has pointed out Errors in other denomnations theology and never considered it
"attacking" other denomnations. But it seems that they just can't stand being exposed much the same as most cults you get the same reaction.
