I married a witness a few short months ago hoping and praying I could follow his path and we a good wife using Jehovah's guidance. I can't. I love him but I am miserable. I can't do this. I am trying, but there are just too many things I can't overcome. He was an elder for many years although disfellowshipped after his divorce. After we married, he was reinstated. I do not depend on him financially, thank God. But I miss him terribly.

That is why the original Apostles baptized people without delay

The reason being ' repent and be baptized and you will receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit"

If you try to live a spiritual life without the new holy spirit promises by God..you tie out and get snowed under...

Because the natural man can not receive the things of the spirit because they are foolishness to them

The problem is within us ...

The Jehovah OF THE JW RELIGION HELPS NO ONE.

I HAVE SEEN SO MUCH CRAP GO ON IN THIS RELIGION THAT IT IS CLEARLY EVIDENT THAT THE JEHOVAH OF THIS RELIGION HELPS NO ONE IN HIS RELIGION.

SORRY FOR BEING HARSH BUT ITS JUST MY OBJECTIVE OBSERVATIONS.

THE PEOPLE IN THIS RELIGION MAY EVEN BE WORSE OFF THEN THE "WORLD" ON AVERAGE.

THIS TOPIX BOARD IS PROOF ASWELL,

LOOK AT ALL THE JWS HERE THAT ARE CONSTANTLY IN DOUBT AND ARGUING.

IF JEHOVAH WAS ON THEIR SIDE THEY WOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE.

DON'T TRY AND DEPEND ON THIS RELIGION TO FIX YOUR PROBLEMS CAUSE IT WON'T AND IT NEVER WILL.

Scripture states that the spirit of this world , operates in the sons of disobedience

So the problem with mankind is how to get rid of the bad spirit that has control over peoples life...

Jesus has won the victory...not us.

So that is why exercising faith in Jesus , we are promised a new spirit...because we need to be remade.

Got nothing to do with religion and everything to do with Jesus

Its not what we are in, but what is in us...

Acts 3 [20] and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,

[21] whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.

[22] "Moses said,'JEHOVAH GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN; TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED to everything He says to you.

Is there any reason you didn't address the poster concerns in regards to the jw denomnation?

Well it depends on the problem

It's not that jw have no redeeming values at all
Because many of the posters values are due to jw

The problem is jw attempt to paint the picture that that have cornered the market on serving God

JW like many faith suffer from a combination of solid dogmas to made up goofy and asinine stuff

Once again the problem is you are expected to accept it All

Someone quoted a recent wt and I have
Find that quote which said in affect

Even if the wt writers out out something goofy you got to accept it

Does anyone recall that new article where the wt writers were discussing being loyal to anything they write???

This sounds fishy.

I believe you're another troll.

If you were truly serious about helping yourself. You wouldn't come here to air your grievances in the first place. No truly sane person would. This place is nutbin.

Honey, get a good therapist to help you sort though. You will end up serving yourself much better.

If you are real....Don't let anyone suck you in with private mails...We have one in particular who does with everyone.

Yes...because the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one...and that includes big religious organizations

And a person who tries to live a christian life by just being a member of any religious organization is going to face the same problem

Because Jesus said " Unless anyone is born of spirit and water he can not enter the Kingdom of God.'

So Jesus understood that principle when Nicodemus visited him

Nicodemus was in a religion that worshiped the true God Jehovah ..

He knew the Law...Knew the will of God

Jesus got straight to the point

Something has to happen inside of us....

Nicodemus was worshiping Jehovah?.. Really?

Didn't Jesus denounce the pharisees of his day?. Didn't he call the Jewish religion a synagogue of Satan?

He has the AUTHORITY to do it.

Jesus did see something inside of Nicodemus. However, Nicodemus was afraid of his fellow Jewish leaders. The scriptures clearly reference that.

I am not a troll and I do have a therapist who suggests I stay away from Jehovah's Witnesses. Easier said then done when they are all very nice to me and I do love my husband. There is a two day assembly this weekend which I chose not to attend. No pressure from my husband but I know everyone is wondering where I am . FYI , I am a widow and I was really hoping this was going to fulfill me . Please don't be mean. I am in turmoil .

Do you mind if I ask my church to pray for you?

Do you mind if we pray that God will show you the path you should take to give you peace of mind and happiness?

I would be grateful. I cannot go to my husband with this burden as I do not want to hurt him. Actually, he knows I am confused, but is so dedicated to Jehovah that he does not have much patience for my concerns.

What's up with the name "trippin toni"?

The word "trippin" has a comical ring to it. At least, here in these parts.

One is free to use whatever name they choose. A hundred names or more, even. Knock yourself out

But, you come on here and speak of one of the most personal LIFE DEFINING relationships in your life which is namely your marriage mate and then with your very first posts using the handle "Trippin Toni".

It has hard to take you seriously...I have seen too many games here...I'm just being honest with the way i see it.
