Jehovah's Witnesses: NOTHING - they all work completely for free.
I agree.
Let me point you away from the doctrines of men and let's see what is said about this subject in scripture:

1 Timothy 5:
17 The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
18 For Scripture says,“Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”

1 Corinthians 9:
14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.

So you're claiming your church has no affliation with anyone else. Its all by itself? Just you and your church elders against the world, right?
Which part of what I said was difficult to understand? My church is run locally by local elders just like in the 1st century Christian congregations. There is no other congregation or organization that we are beholden to.

If by us "against the world" you mean we are Christians living in and preaching in the world without being part of it, just as Jesus commanded us, then yes.

If you mean us "against the world" as in we are attacking the world as some type of rogue force, then no. I have brothers and sisters in The Way all across the globe and some of those are affiliated with certain denominations. But they are still my brothers and sisters as they have accepted Christ as their only true savior and don't worship some corporation or organization of men as a false ark or false christ between them and God.

Love PERMEATES the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. These anti-JW propagandists with their religious agendas don't want you to believe that - hence all the 'horror stories' and negative (supposed) "experiences".
Don't take their word for it. Don't take my word for it. Go visit your local Kingdom Hall and see for yourselves!
As if people don't know what the tactic "love bombing" is. It's been used on new recruits to cults for ages. But once you're in....doom.

I know to the penny how much our pastor makes and it is far less than what he quoted as well.
You just can't have an honest discussion with a Watchtower Society worshiper, can you?
I use to think you could but now I don't see it here. The ones here are either not really witnesses, or they are very weak ones.

I know what our Pastor makes as well because it is on the expense sheet we go over every month. Things are not hidden from us.

The GB aka F&DS does not work for free. They are paid very well, maybe not in salary, but they are paid, and greatly I might add. Surely you can see that Nomi.

And there is nothing wrong with paying a Pastor so he can be free of a full time job to dedicate his life to this church and members.

Response was to this "And there is nothing wrong with paying a Pastor so he can be free of a full time job to dedicate his life to this church and members." Your statement has no bearing.

Is there anything wrong with paying millions of dollars in molestation court cases and millions of buckerooos of gag orders on them cases? The wt just lost a case to candace conti and were ordered to pat 28 million smackers to her. They offered her an additional ten mill for a gag order and she told them to shove it because it wasnt about the money. We all know to the wt its all about the money. How do you sleep at night knowing your cult leaders are a bunch of slime balls? You make me sick "Man".

*** w90 12/1 p. 24 How Jehovah Prospers His Work ***

Do any of the Watch Tower Society’s officers or members make money from your extensive printing activities?

Emphatically, no! By law, the Society is a nonprofit corporation. There are no stockholders, no dividends, not even salaries. Each minister at headquarters, including the Society’s president and directors, has taken a legal vow of poverty. He receives food, shelter, and necessary medical care, as well as a small reimbursement of money for out-of-pocket expenses. If a Witness travels on Society business, his travel expenses are usually covered.
In addition, nowhere in the world do our ministers charge for performing weddings, baptisms, or funerals. And there are no admission charges or collections at public lectures or conventions.

Voluntary means voluntary.

This is what Jehovah's Witnesses are taught about donating:

== Quote:==

"Bearing Thorough Witness" About God's Kingdom
http://download.jw.org/files/media_books/bt_E...

With a generous spirit like that of faithful disciples in first-century Jerusalem, millions of present-day Witnesses support the worldwide preaching work by making voluntary donations. No one is forced to give either his time or his money to support this work. Indeed, Jehovah does not want us to serve him grudgingly or under compulsion.(2 Cor. 9:7) When we do give, Jehovah is interested, not in the amount, but in the motive for our giving.(Mark 12:41-44) Never would we want to be like Ananias and Sapphira, allowing our service to God to be prompted by self-interest or glory seeking. Instead, like Peter, John, and Barnabas, may our service to Jehovah always be motivated by genuine love of God and of our fellow man.—Matt. 22:37-40.

Very true, and that is the whole point, isn't it? When JWs claim that the entire JW organization is loving and kind and that anyone who has had a negative experience is lying, they are grossly misrepresenting the truth of the matter.

JWs are no different from any other group.

I have visited many congregations all over the place and they have all been very warm and friendly.

In fact READERS can put this to the test.

On one Sunday visit a new church you never been to before. The following Sunday visit a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Keep alternating until you decide which you like best.

Checks would then identify the person and the amt would be noted.
Hope you are well,OMBS and that you keep that open mind so you can see truth from the lies of men. Stick with the bible alone and you won't go wrong.
Take care !
