You show us:
1) What the WT publications ACTUALLY SAID about having a "clergy" so we can examine THEIR words rather than your claims.
2) Where in the Bible does it forbid us from writing things down on paper?
Garath you have so far chose to ignore my post 553. I would really appreciate your view on what I have written. Thanks.

Of course you're jealous. You are falling over yourself looking for ATTENTION from anyone who will listen to you. And it gets so bad you will say ANYTHING to SHOCK people just so that they will pay some attention to you. Even if its to tell you what a piece of refuse you are.
Thank you Aneirin, for all your help. I took your advice, and wrote that letter. But than decided not to take that letter down with me to the KH. I want to move forward without looking back.

Much Christian Love to you.

Provide a concrete example of what you claim they say.

I have no interest in what you say they say.

What you are really saying is that the elders claim it to protect themselves from the extremely remote possibility that the convicted pedophile might attempt to sue them for "clerical malpractice" even though they know that such a lawsuit would never get off the ground.

Pocketbook vs protecting the children. Pocketbook wins!!

Its so good to hear that you feel you can try to move forward. Please don't be discouraged if the road turns out to be a little rockier than we might hope. Satan makes nothing worthwhile easy. If I have said anything that actually helped you then that is reward enough for all the time spent in this evil, demon infested place called "topix".

I should have said I was looking for your view on the clergy part of my statement and women. We can deal with them speaking out of both sides of their mouth another time.

Elders are lot lawyers (neither ae you) so how would they (or you) know if such a law suit would get off the ground or not?

I already provided a quote from a legal expert in church law that says different from what you say.

Word is the eldr wanted his son to do that, because he had it in for you from when he disfellowshipped your mother. WHy was she disfellowshipped again? Painkiller addiction?

The expert you quoted was not dealing with the on-again, off-again "clergy" of JWs, though, was he?

Hey Garath now you can respond to this part of my post and the second half that I already asked you about. This part deals with the WTs double standards I spoke about.
1. When individuals leave the WT organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that God is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work.

When people leave another Christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.
2. When a Christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie.

When a Jehovah’s Witness lies, he is proving his loyalty to Jehovah and fulfilling his sacred obligation to engage in spiritual warfare.

3. During times of rapid growth the organization claims Gods approval for the harvest.

During times of little or negative growth, the organization prints that this is evidence that the end is near because it appears that the harvest work is almost over.

4. When a Jehovah’s Witness is martyred, it is seen as following Christs example and fulfillment of Scripture.

When a Christian of another faith is martyred it is seen as a misguided, albeit admirable exercise in a form of faith but proving false to its Source.

5. When the organization prophesies falsely it is due to man's imperfection and an eagerness to see the new system.

When another faith prophesies falsely it is proof that they are a false prophet in fulfillment of Christ’s words about the presence of many false prophets during the last days.

6. When other Christian faiths experience growth it is because the Devil is misleading the entire inhabited earth.

When Jehovah’s Witnesses experience growth it is undeniable evidence that Jesus is actively leading the organization.
7. When other religions are exposed as fraudulent and a menace to society and they lose certain privileges or status within a particular context, it is because God uses the governments as his executioner of justice.

When the Jehovah’s Witnesses are exposed as fraudulent and a menace to society and they lose certain privileges or status within a particular context, it is because Satan owns all the governments; else how could he have offered all of them to Jesus as a temptation?

Show me where the WT publications say that people leaving another religion is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.

So-called "spiritual warfare" does not permit lying. Merely withholding information if that information puts the lives of other Christians at risk.

Of course. Jesus does not accept false Christians to be priests in heaven with him.

The organization does not utter prophecies, all they have ever done is interpret the prophecies in the Bible. They always said that interpreting prophecy is not fool proof.

True enough. Only Jesus would lead people into his true congregation away fom false religions.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not fraudulent nor are they a menace to society. In fact, being Christ's true followers, they are the ONLY people benefiting society.

So you are saying that all judges are corrupt. Not very convincing. Try something else.

Garath most people on this site no what I have written is totally true, and if they doubt it they can easily check themselves from Watchtower publications.
However this was not the main point was it? I am asking you now for the third time to respond to my main point about the clergy, the elders and women in the org having the same qualifications as the men. This is all outlined in post 553.
