hey peter lasron, part of little lambs belief is that she has never been fooled, and therefore is a virgin of the 144,000 .... so she is not allowed to admit she was wrong about something........ so there are a lot of facts she has to avoid, or dream up a tricky talk response to, to side step.

According to the recommemed responses listed in the "REASONING FROM THE SCRIPTURES BOOK"on page 17 under 'I'm not interested in Jehovah's Witnesses':".....on the basis of people's reaction to the kingdom message, everyone is being"MARKED"either for preservation through the great tribulation or destruction by God".All JW's who don't have this mark must be destroyed.Yes the angel was sent to "mark CROSSES on the foreheads".SEE EZK 9:4 BIBLE in LIVING ENGLISH published by WTBS,and THE FINISHED MYSTERY p.418"The 'TAV'was the twenty-second letter, and its earlier form had the shape of a cross".

So need to understand what you are implying here..are you saying if a person confesses his sin but continues doing it is he saved? is this what you are asking??
Read it slower this time.

Do you believe that a person that confess their sins STOPS sinning?

I know..but you continue to use that scripture when we share "Faith without works is dead"..and you don't seem to understand that we are declared righteous by our faith..and that we are speaking about FAITH without works and not our own works of righteousness at all..
Then why do you keep quoting Phil.2:12 about working out your salvation?

What are you saying this time oh Word of Faith cult spinner of mystery and obscurity?
What is it exactly that some don't believe? Please tell us your secret.
Healed from what exactly? Healed from never getting ill? Healed from never having to die at all?
Word of Faith cultist believe that, if you have enough faith, you will not get sick and you will not die!
They say "Words are power tools for Christians. Scripture spoken out loud in Jesus' name are commands to your body."
They have Faith Confessions which they chant daily, such as:
"I will not die, but live and declare the works of God."
Do you share their views little lamb?
Have you engineered enough faith yet to be free of sin and death little lamb?
Have you chanted enough Scriptures to never get ill and never die at all?
Is the magic working yet?
I don't know what those people believe..all I know is

it is written " God loved the world so much he sent his only begotten son , that whomsoever exercises faith in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"

and whoever has the SON has this LIFE.

So your question really should be directed to God himself ..Is this life he gives us.. is it "abundant LIFE" or life full of sickness and death, which is not life at all??

Also Jesus says " Don't say the same things over and over again thinking you will get a hearing because of your use of many words"...chanting is out for a Christian..

I hate that "exercising" translation.

John 3:16
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

16 for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.

I like it myself ..because its a fact " faith without works is dead"

So exercising shows that it is faith in action and not a dead faith.

Ok. I just went and got my Kingdom Interlinear Version, the purple one, the first one the WT published.

It reads:

"Thus for loved the God the world as-and the Son the only-begotten he gave, in order that everyone the believing into him not might be destroyed but may have life everlasting."

I do not see any reason for installing "exercising" into that verse except to back up a works doctrine.

Yet Jesus himself says " why do you call me Lord Lord and don't do the things I say"

And so shows us Faith without works is DEAD.

Using the word 'exercising' helps them to justify the work they require of their members. After all to exercise is to work.

It really helps us to understand James 2 [24] You see a man is to be declared righteous by works and not faith alone "

Thats going to upset some apple carts because true FAITH has works otherwise its DEAD

Its just that by works OF LAW, no man will be declared righteous.

But Faith WITHOUT works is dead.

Amen borgfree... I've always wondered why the weird translation myself... other than to promote a basis of some doctrine of bondage to requirements/works. Faith, Trust, Belief are interchangeable... If you have faith in someone... you trust that one. If you trust in someone... you believe in that one. If you believe in someone... you have faith in which you believe in and trust.

So if you can exercise faith.. Can one exercise trust and belief also??? Since Faith is a gift of God's... to us... and we accept it as a gift... and if by acceptance we naturally allow Christ to live through us by yielding ourselves to God's will to love one another... then what is the big deal of hammering and hammering this "works" based faith teaching?? I just don't understand whey some folks just cannot wrap their minds around the "free gift" of faith. Why is there a desire to place people under some sort of bondage of the very requirements Jesus set us free from?? Won't they ever accept the fact that works are no longer works but acts of love.. when by faith we naturally perform them without regard to honor or glory for ourselves, nor thoughts of rewards... but just because He loved us... that we should love one another?? Works are no longer works but acts of love without strings attached.. I just don't get the stuck recording that plays over and over again demanding that people must do something to earn God's love and gift of salvation... when He he already declare such in the very verse you quoted in John 3:16. He already loved us before He gave His Son to die for us... seems simple to me and you... Why is it so hard for others to see??? Theo...

Good post Theo. I do not understand either why some are so determined to add human works to what our Lord has already done. When confronted with the fact that Jesus' sacrifice was complete when He said, "It is finished", they must then come up with one of the "yeah buts"
