A subject that has always fascinated me.

How many??..... We don't know. The work is largely underground till this day.

The are plenty of witneeses in China.

It would be nice if perhaps, one day Jehovah can open up the doors and let us see how speedily the work is going on their ,inspite,of the govermental ban.

This report is NOT from the society.

Yet, it may shed a little light.

I heard there is alot of Witnesses there. We can see on the report that vast amount of literature is been distributed there. So that give an indiction that Jehovah is speeding up the work there.

Yes. I have heard the same. There are plenty of witnesses in China.

The society is quite discreet about the numbers until the political situation there is favorable to our work.

That is going to be some report when it does come out, some report, indeed.

There is a senior brother i know who was recounted to me that how
2 witness brother's from China once talked of their experiences in Yankee stadium some years back.

Plenty of Witnesses? From the site you posted, this is the number they state:
The witnesses currently number about 300
Three hundred out of more than 463 million is not exactly "plenty" by any stretch of the imagination.

What does the first paragraphh state?

http://www.unhcr.org/refworld/country,,,QUERY...

Translation: The society is NOT going to give out those figures.

It wouldn't be the prudent thing to do.

We are UNDERGROUND in China. Witnesses are experts at working underground.

We have done it before and we can do it again.

They have to be underground? Really, where did it state that? Perhaps the Society doesn't want to give figures because they're embarrassed?

That articles further states:
The general counsel further stated that his organization was not aware of any current reports of arrests or detention of Jehovah's Witnesses in China (General Counsel 22 Feb. 2006).
And:
Jehovah's Witnesses were not on the list of banned "cults" in China (Executive Secretary 20 Jan. 2006).
So, your claim that they are "underground" is as false as your claim that there are "plenty" of JWs in China.

Another statement which puts the lie to your claims is this:
According to the World Christian Encyclopedia, however, "marginal churches" such as the Jehovah's Witnesses "have had virtually no impact on China" (2001, 195).[/QUOTE[

Christians, on the other hand, seem to be doing QUITE well in China. It would seem that Christians have been preaching the good news and getting good results there, while JWs have had little impact.

Here is information about a survey taken in China from a different site that contains quite a bit of information about Christians in China:

[QUOTE]Of these 7021 Chinese respondents, in 2007 3.1 percent of Chinese indicated they were Christians (2.9 percent Protestants and 0.2 percent Catholics). Based on these data, one can argue for a total of 35.3 million Chinese Christians over the age of sixteen.

Perhaps you should read the sites you refer to before you misquote them and spin your tales.

There is an increased interest in Holy scripture in China, and there is activity with different groups, God knows what he is doing and Paul said , that even though he was imprisoned the WORD OF GOD isn't and was spreading through the world of his day

Its that valuable "WORD OF GOD"..that is spreading..religions are a by product trying to contain and control the WORD..But they can't the WORD is for the hungry heart..the WORD is for the searching soul..The WORD finds its lodging in a good HEART..May the WORD of GOD speedily spread , may the wonderful SEED of God find many FERTILE soils.

As we all wait for the legal rightful owner of the true congregation ... Jesus Christ.

As GODS WORD sats " He who waters and he who plants are NOTHING..but it is God who makes the seed grow.

the problem among Christian religions arise because the ones who plant and ones who water tend to think they are SOMETHING, when Gods word says they are NOTHING.

How did I twist anything? I gave you exact quotes from the website YOU linked to? Sorry that you don't like what was said, but YOU are the one who is twisting things by your ridiculous comments. Perhaps you feel that the WT spokesperson was twisting things? Yes, I guess that's it. HE'S twisting things and disagrees with what YOU want to believe, so the mere act of quoting him means that you will slam me for HIS comments.

Perhaps you should write to the group that stated that JWs are not on the "banned" list and tell them that they are wrong and that you "know" a JW who said that they ARE banned.

Get cracking, JWF.
