Seems there are a lot of "judges" here. Lets clear the air once and for all. Are you a JW? If so, say so. If not, stop "judging" those who are.

If you want to clear the air, I am an disassociated JW who now attends the Catholic church. Many times I relate experiences I had as a JW (over 40 years) and I am attacked for this. JW's are just as judgmental about the Catholics, if not more so, than anyone else.

The judging will never stop, neither will the criticism, because if you haven't yet figured it out, that is why many come here, the "real" JW's find the all JW sites boring. You even said this yourself Nomi.

If you want some of the judging to stop, Nomi, stop posting your "holier-than-thou" answers. What you believe is your right, but acting like others are wrong is not your right.

The judging will never stop, you are asking the impossible, but it is just as much the JW's doing the judging as it is the non or ex-JW's or the JW defenders who are not actually a JW. As I said before, because of the fighting and hatefulness, judging and criticism is why this forum has so many people posting here.
Why not set an example for the other JW's, if there any other genuine ones, and refine your answers and judging policies first, maybe others will follow your example.

Yes, I post some smart remarks sometimes, there is a certain few that upset me, and I know that I shouldn't answer, but you have no idea how many times I refrain from answering. Self-control, Nomi, is one of the fruits of the spirit which you should be well acquainted.

Nomi, I believe you should have told the JWs to stop judging others as well. They have judged me as an apostate, the Antichirt, and as few other words I will not even mention, just because I no longer believe their religious leaders. Is that a christian thing to do? I believe there may be 2 real witnesses here, you are one of them. But the others who claim to be witnesses are really people trying to put a bad light on the witnesses. Is this judging them, no, it is only stating who I believe they are. Jehovah and Jesus will be the one who judges them.

To clear the air, I was born into a family of Jehovah's witnesses, I accepted their teachings and believed them for 54 years of my life.

Then, at 54 years old I prayed for Jesus to accept my life and gave my entire self to Him asking to be a slave for the Gospel.

I am NOT one of Jehovah's witnesses NOW, Thank God!

I come here and other places hoping to, in some way, help others avoid wasting many years slaving for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, Inc., aka Watchtower Dictator Training Corporation, and, hoping to plant seeds for the real Gospel.

Like you I was a witness for 54 years of my life. My mother became a witness when I was only 6. For the sake of those who say I was not a true witness until I was baptized, I will say 40 plus years. I found Jesus through prayer and study of the bible, I then understood why the GB did not want me to do this alone. Its all there in the bible, all one has to do is truly read it and understand it with the help of the Holy spirit. I dont feel I wasted those years, it gave me the courage to show others how to get out from under their control. It showed me how to help others see the wrong teachings they have. It also shows others who are having doubts that they do have some place to go outside the WTO, straight to Jesus Christ. I am a Christian, and very proud of it.

Hopefully borgfree, you can help someone to see the real truth of Jesus. God bless you.

Thank you Karen. Yes, like you. I do not consider those years wasted, for many reasons, still, if I had the choice today, I would not want to spend one day slaving for the WT Society. That is why I would like to help others avoid even one day, or, one more day.

I can certainly understand that borgfree. I just look at it like God had a purpose for us being in for all those years, and he is using us to help others because we understand what they are going through. But like you, I hope that we can help others avoid even one more day.

I have never denied being a JW, and don't plan to. However, having said that...if I were not a JW...I would be no part of any religion...too many falsehoods, and hypocrisy.

As for holier than thou? I have never claimed to be that. However, I am strong for my Faith. and the defence of it. I respect the fact that others can choose how they choose to live, with or w/o religion...no concern of mine. And I have no problem with it, at all.

I am a JW thru and thru. Just because I am limited, does not change that fact at all.

People can't discern who is a Jehovah witness and who is not, because many assume man is the one who determines who is one and who is not based on a lie of being a worshiper of an organization...its just not scriptural

Jehovah says who his two witnesses are in Isaiah 43

verse [1] Jacob and ISRAEL.

then verse [12] states 'you are my witnesses.."

So Jacob is fleshly estranged Israel[but not forever]

And the Israel of God is the tree, that Christians are grafted on to ..because branches were broken off.

So men who lie who say they are Jehovah's witnesses because they belong to an organization.

But organization isn't even scriptural word..and
so many of you have bought that lie .

Serve you all right for believing the lie..

Jesus Christ, "The faithful Witness," "The firstborn from the dead, and "The Ruler of the Kings of the Earth."

However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among YOU. These very ones will quietly bring in destructive sects and will disown even the owner that bought them. bringing speedy destruction upon themselves.

In response to the original post, Teary can say without hesitation, that is he is positively, without a doubt...

somewhere between an active baptized JW and a non-JW with JW acquaintances.

Teary hopes this response is fully to your satisfaction.

Thanks you and goodnight.
