UN to devastate false religion.

(Revelation 17:16-17)...And the ten horns that you saw, and the wild beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts and will completely burn her with fire. 17 For God put [it] into their hearts to carry out his thought...

NEW YORK, June 18, 2007 ( LifeSiteNews.com )- Religious education is a form of child abuse and violates the rights of children, contends a thesis to be considered by secular humanists at the Center for Inquiry's congress in Beijing this October.

The Center for Inquiry, an organisation recently awarded special consultative status as an NGO at the United Nations (UN) will consider the proposals of Innaiah Narisetti, the chairman of the Center for Inquiry's India chapter, that portend the next stage in the assault on the rights of parents to educate their children.

Nasiretti called the influence of religion a "severe shortcoming in the global campaign to protect children" and a contributor to child abuse saying, "In one form or another, all religions violate the rights of children."

"Such abuse begins with the involuntary involvement of children in religious practices from the time they are born," says Narisetti. "All religions, through ritual, preaching, and religious texts, seek to bring children into day-to-day religious practice."

"This gives holy books and scriptures, as well as those who teach them, an early grip on the developing minds of young people, leaving an indelible impression on them," said Narisetti, calling Sunday schools, madrassas, or Jewish or Hindu temples, centers of indoctrination for children.

Nasiretti's proposal would reject the long-recognized inherent rights of parents to educate and provide for their children's religious instruction in favor of regulating children's exposure to religious influence by world governments abiding by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

"The time has come to debate the participation of children in religious institutions," continues Narisetti. "While some might see it as a matter better left to parents, the negative influence of religion and its subsequent contribution to child abuse from religious beliefs and practices requires us to ask whether organized religion is an institution that needs limits set on how early it should have access to children."

The UN forum proposed by Narisetti would debate the "pros and cons" of religion on children and determine whether religion contributes to global child abuse.

"The UN must then take a clear stand on the issue of the forced involvement of children in religious practices; it must speak up for the rights of children and not the automatic right of parents and societies to pass on religious beliefs, and it must reexamine whether an organization like the Vatican should belong to the UN," stated Narisetti.

"Until this happens, millions of children worldwide will continue to be abused in the name of religion, and the efforts made by the UN will continue to address the symptoms but not the disease."

(Revelation 17:1-2).†.†.ďCome, I will show you the judgment upon the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2†with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, whereas those who inhabit the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.Ē

Indeed. And if the WTS had not been "outed" re their association with the UN as an NGO, they'd still be there SHARING IN HER SINS, rubbing elbows with the RC's and all the other religious NGO's.

As far as the UN's plans to implement some sort of limit on the control and indoctrination of children by religion, IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Religious organizations that bring problems upon themselves due to their goofy doctrines go whining to the courts whenever they feel their "rights" are being violated, yet demonstrate how little regard they have for the rights of their most vulnerable - the children.

This information isn't new; in fact, the JWs will be a PRIME target. The story-link you should have also included is the link to the United Nations' website's Unitarian global religion page (isn't called that exactly but does have the word unitatrian in it).

This is the United Nation's NEW Luciferian religion of the ages. While JWs are duped into "telling on the mountains, over the hills and everywhere" the demise of "false" religion, they don't seen to understand THEIR so-called Christian sect is also on the Globalist's hitlist--the only difference is that JWs also participate in announcing the demise of their own sect. Rather brilliant of your Watchtower leaders...sad for the JWs though.

The JWs should ask themselves why their oranization hasn't felt the need to tell them about the UN's religion charter that WILL affect JWs as well.

Jean is a prime example of how well cults like the Watchtower Society/Jehovah's Witnesses can effectively deceive gullible people.

Jehovah's Witnesses and their literature are not popular in many parts of Russia, so much so that they need to appeal to the Euorpean Human Rights Council and the Russian Supreme Court in order to merely exist. Why should we imagine that they will fare any better with the U.N.?

The JW members are being set-up for a fall, and the leaders know it. The UN has their own brand of a "religion" in the works. They call it Unitarian Universalism, but it's goal is to remove every form of independant religion from the planet--ESPECIALLY Christianity. They have morphed uniques aspects of religions together, including some aspects of Christianity (without Christ)and aspects from all other religions. But under the surface it is Luciferianism. Even now the JWs are being set-up as antagonists against the UN's Luciferian cause. For the Watchtower leaders, it's a game with an eventaul end, and they are proceeding along as though they are walking on egg shells, but they will rear their ugly heads soon enough.

Well there is a difference between education and indoctrination. So I think that is a good thing. Kids should not be force fed religion until the reach an age where they can choose themselves. Religion does not belong in education.

Indeed.

This ground work has been happening for a number of years now. We can all see where this is going.

If you asked people 10 years ago whether or not the UN would turn against religion then people would have denied the possibility, even though the WTS have been saying so for the best part of a century.

Now people can see it happening. But they forget who knew.

I was thinking the same thing, for someone the stress such a shortness of time and YET ain't put Big Toe IN NO WATER IS BLOWING SMOKE OUT HIS ARSE.

see this is so funny in terms of how a person who IS A JW COMES online and pretends they are not, the moment they start to "Stress" this ain't no joke folks, these bible verses are being fullfilled quickly and the time is short not time to pussy foot around and then you ask

"Well when are you joining" they lose all their steam- it literally takes the wind out of their sail

this clown has over 23,000 post in "Verbal" support of the FDS/WT/Boys in Writing, etc and yet has no life demostration that he BELIEVES ANYTHING HE HAS BEEN ADVOCATING

Garth should have never came online lying about being a jw, he setup himself, now he can't come clean and admit he has been lying all this time

its the greatest catch 22- see he can't argue to any of the nonjw

"Folks i believe this information with all my heart soul and strength that is why i became a jw, i beleive what i am advocating and defending-

instead the readers are left with a fool just Jawboning

This is not news to true Christians. We have been telling people for years this will happen. Thats why people need to decide which side they will be on, when it does...Jehovah GOD's or that of Babylon the Great.

Satan is the God of this system. as identified by Jesus himself. You either serve Jehovah GOD, or follow Satan...only two courses you can choose.

Here is the interesting point. The original poster said that the UN was going to destroy religion. The method that she posted was an NGO that was associated with DPI. That is how the UN was going to destroy religion, in her mind.

Yet, to ask her if the WT was part of the UN, she would reply "NO NO NO," they were ONLY associated. Yes, associated in the EXACT SAME way as the organization she just pointed out to us.

HYPOCRITE!!!

BTW, I firmly believe that raising a child in religion is child abuse. If they wish to follow it as an adult, let them. But they should not be indoctrinated as vulnerable children.

We have a promise
"Seek forst the kingdom of God, and all these other things shall be added to you."
In seeking first the kingdom, you have to decide of ' train up a boy for him to go and when he is older he will not depart from it.'
Means a personal responsibility for parents to see their children are educated into the way of God.?
Next you have to ask yourself ' does the U N have authority that exceeds Jehovah?
Next question does God protect his people, those whose heart is steadfast to HIM?
Then what does he say
"If God is for us, what can man do to me."
But it takes FAITH , doesn't it, but faith can walk on top of the water.
