So UNchained admits that he does not reflect the views of God...<quoted text>
I haven't said they do, Gareth.
Allow me to be more explicit.
NO human on earth reflects the views of God.
There was only one human who has ever reflected the views of God.
Jesus is His name.
Now, you can get back on track with the topic at hand.
The WTBTS leaders claim to be the voice of God and also claim to reflect the views of God.
WHY does the WTBTS allow a convicted wrongdoer, an unrepentant sinner 7 days to APPEAL the decion of a judicial committee?
READERS, all true Christians most certainly do reflect the views of God.
They dedicate their life to learning about God and getting to know God for that very purpose, that they should come to see things the way God sees them. That their opinions should reflect God's opinions and their views should reflect God's views.
Its pretty much what Christianity is all about - reconciling us with God:
*** 2 Cor 5:20 We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
*** John 17:20 Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word,
*** John 17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be * in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.
*** John 17:22 The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one;
*** John 17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.
No one is pretending we reflect God's view PERFECTLY or without error or mistake. We do the best we can and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ covers us where we fall short.
*** Eph 4:11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
*** Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ;
*** Eph 4:13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
