Are you alleged Christians bowing down to your cross today? FYI today wasn't when Jesus died!

The following diagram will reveal the reason why "the third day" is frequently used by sacred authors to designate the day our Lord rose from the dead.

Jesus' own promise that he would be in the heart of the earth "three days and three nights" (Matthew 12:40) could not have been fulfilled in its entirety except by his resurrection at sunset on Sunday, which would have given three full days and three full nights in the grave; however, Jesus said that he would rise "the third day," meaning that he would not be in the grave but two days.

Now look at the chart:

Thursday Night - burial

period in the tomb ->

Friday Night - 1st day

Saturday Night - 2nd day

Sunday - 3rd day begins

Jesus was buried at sunset on Thursday and rose very early on Sunday, the first day of the week.

BTW, this took place in 30 A.D. instead of 33 A.D. as the JW cult teaches.

Personally ..

the good I perceive is that men remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ ..

and even if dates are confused the remembering of what he did ..is a good thing

We don't bow down to anything. You are very brainwashed to believe that. The cross is a symbol used in the bible. We are told several times to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. Which is why so many wear crosses and have them in their home. That would be like us asking you if you bowed down to the the governing body, which in a way you do because I heard the circuit assembly talk a while back that instructed you all this and I quote "If we say jump, you are to say how high". Are they your God???

Another thing Jehovah witnesses are against angels of any kind being in their homes, but in the old testament when God instructs them to build the tabernacle they are instructed to carve 2 guardian angels and put on both sides of the entrance. This command was from God. How do you explain this, if having these things was a form of bowing down to them why would God himself instruct people to carve them and put them at the entrance?

Here's another JW proving (yet again) that they must feel persecuted in order to be right.

You start a thread with a post that is incendiary and what do you think will happen?

Nobody wants to have a discussion when that is how the conversation starts. They all know you just want to try and cause problems. JW to the bone, aren't you? It shows in your attempts to feel superior to others.

.
. I do recall some imfo on that.. Was just reflect thou that when God flooded the earth ..he placed a rainbow to remind HIM of HIS promise never to destroy mankind in that manor again.. That rainbow is not just seen ..once a year.. And yet.. for those that have read his word.. that promise is generally brought to mind ..when we see one or two..

.True..you probably haven't seen any pictures.. But ask yourself.. Do you need pictures of GOD..in order to Worship him.?? Then Reflect on those that hang on every word..that suposedly come down from the GB..as gospel... And will defend them.. with vehemence.. Even knowing in their heart that they are wrong.. WHO..would you say..these people worship??? When GOD's word ..repeadedly tells us to NOT put our faith in Men's words... Faith in God..is the Key to Worshiping..HIM..
