People are drawn to JW's for the same reasons people are drawn to all other religious groups. There nothing unique in their experience, accept to say JW's are very fleshly people, seeking an absolute security through knowledge.

Few if any group are more structured to maintain control, which fleshly people consider unity, but is in reality a lack of faith. The so called lack of control JW's see in other religions is considered confusion, and proof that they are from the Devil. Thus, what starts out as a good religious experience become a progressive control of mind, body, and soul, for so called godly unity by legislated legalism.

Knowledge is what gives each JW's life, although, they will vehemently denied this, so called accurate knowledge is their god. This knowledge bring them into a mocked humility of denying the promises of life that Jesus Christ said are ours if we put faith in him as the Son of God. Mocked humility, means in this manner statements like:“we are working hard to get life”. These statement make JW's feel superior over other religions that “presumptuously” put faith in Christ Jesus words just as he stated them.

John 3:15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 5:24 "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Once this mocked humility is reinforced through meetings, and older brothers, and sister, it become presumptuous to simply put faith in God's word; it has for JW”s become a matter of works, and structure unity promoted through so called accurate knowledge coming from the GB. The fear of losing that structure, reinforced by sales based technique promoting the WTS as the best, happiest, and God people on earth, is insidious driven into the psychic of every member, becomes their worship of the WTS.

Moreover, they have been sanction by the GB (governing body) to judge all other religions as wicked, or evil. Once this concept is reinforced as righteous, or as Jehovah God's own righteous judgment it bleeds into all aspects of JW's lives from, family, friends, and even members within their own group. Life and death decision are made as simply as a large corporation competing within a global market without compunction.

They have no fear of judging other, they live in fear of God's love. In other words, those promoting God's love in an non-judgment faith, trusting in Christ words of faith; these ones are considered wicked, evil people who make religion easy, whereas, JW's are superior earning life by their personal good works. This superior attitude incorporated into each member by so called accurate knowledge blinds them to any discussion accept that which comes from their group through the GB.

However, this thinking make life very hard for JW's living from fear, always wrangling within their minds trying to control others people thoughts and words, by their indoctrinated teachings so they don't compromise their faith, once again, reinforcing their superior position as God people on earth. Thus, leaving this control environments leaves them with no other place too go, that is, always being pushed by a massive sales team to preform service for God to earn and stay within the group. Left on their own, so goes their service, which is interpreted by members as proof of God's curse upon those leaving.

Those going back go back WTS do so for the same reason they became a Jehovah's Witnesses in first, not because of seeking truth, but rather organization, in which, without they are in effective as a Christian, and human beings. They find they cannot serve God without man pushing them, and approving them in every little aspect of their service too God, the very thing they hate in other religions.

Subsequently, they have no faith outside of WTS, this fear drives them into justifying all bad fruitage of the group as righteous coming from God. Sadly, when the WTS goes down as all false religion will at the coming of the Lord, JW's will be left facing the very thing they live in fear of the Son of God, and putting faith in Him alone instead of organization religion created by men.

Daniel has a religious agenda and is strongly opposed to Jehovah's Witnesses.

So he does not present a very accurate picture of Jehovah's Witnesses or their beliefs.

Better to discover that from the SOURCE away from any distorted agenda.

Here is what Jehovah's Witnesses are all about:

To believe a lie because of fear is a terrible things, but to teach a lie after knowing the truth is blasphemous. Members of the WTS are taught to study their bibles and do research on God's word through God's chosen channel their governing body (GB).

No person in the WTS is ignorant to what the bible teaches, but each member chose to ignore the truth of their own conduct, and those they associated with in the WTS. Moreover, even-though they know the truth of its fruits as James spoke above they lie to others about that fruitage by arguing so called truth.

The WTS is a political group, not political like the nations in arguing parties, but political in upholding ideology and denying the truth of their own conduct. Their entire truth is a lie, by not correcting their own mistakes, in killing people spiritually throwing their names out as wicked, and than changing the same teachings which destroyed lives calling new light!

This so called new light is believing the lie, and it has damage millions of Jehovah's Witnesses and family members, while those loyal to a government man made religion continue without blush to promote it as the truth. Blinded from fear of not being right they accept the evil by some good the group does in the name of Christ Jesus and Jehovah God imagine they are doing a sacred service to God.

But Christ stated with no lie: A good tree can not produce evil fruit and a corrupt tree cannot produce good works. All JW's have is their comparing works against other man made religion so in their mind they are on the top of a pile of yeast corrupted with death, as are all man-made religions.

My congregation was full of social outcasts. If you offer a fat, uneducated idiot a bunch of new friends and a place to hang out then they will take it. A 5 dollar suit from Goodwill and they are ready for field service and the hope of one day finding a fat uneducated wife so they can have fat uneducated children.

Ok, Slave of Christ,

What if I'm an Aboriginee living in Australia. I have no phone, internet, books, and I have been raised to believe in the spiritual teaching of my forefathers, no Jehovah's Witnesses know I exist and no Christians know where I am either. I'm in a remote section of land. If I live my whole life in happiness complacent with my surroundings and I die happy.

I'm just thinking of how silly it is to proclaim a middle eastern deity 2000 years old or more to a civilization that will never probably hear of it.

I have to put myself in the shoes of all those in the world who view the middle eastern message of Jesus as one that simply cannot make geographical sense in many climates.

What if I don't want to live forever? What if I am perfectly happy and I "wake up with positive thoughts" every morning already? Yes I got the silly little flier the other day. Why do JW's think that secular people aren't already happy? We are you know, and we do so without a book publishing company disguising itself as a religion.

I don't know if your adressing me? But God is not far off from any of us, and I don't believe He want you unhappy, He is the happy God. I am certain by faith that if He want to communicate with you He can do so the creator of the brain, and he does not need any religions permission.

If not, we all go back to the dust from which we came and God will sort it out. Worrying and fighting with others does not change the fact our lives are in the most capable hands when we compare God to man-made religion.

Im surprised they haven't figured out a way to make contributions on their food stamp card. For a religion that won't serve their county they sure don't care to take hand outs.

Thay are mostly people down on their luck looking for something to cling to as a last resort.then bingo that door bell rings and the hook is in.Then in a few years of rule stacking they are locked into a lifetime of hell.Shouldnt there be a law against that or something?

Or they could take an interest in the religion because they have a good heart, are sincere, and the thought of possibly being able to spend forever with their children greatly appeals to them, along with following bible principles and feeling good about themselves for doing so.

Yes, this is possible, and probably acceptable to Jehovah :-)

But it really is best to serve Jehovah, not for ulterior motives, but because you are completely in love with Him.

Our personal dedication to Jehovah is our best chance for everlasting life.

This is true sometimes.

Once you realize that mankind does not have the answers, you go looking for answers somewhere else.

You go looking for God :-)

I agree 110%, this is the reason my mom became a jw,

the only problem is during the process of beoming a jw their is a major Shift from developing a close relationship with God, to literally developing a close relationship with the WRitings of the WT editorial staff of Writers, till the point where one literally believes ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION of what The WT Editorial staff writes is the same as acceptance or rejection of God himself

so a person literally becomes a follower of the WT and its published works MORE SO THAN THE BIBLE ITSELF

this is well documented when the wt editorial staff shifts its position on various issues, THE JW SHIFT IN LOCK STEP

demostrating that in reality the person was following the WT and not the bible, HE JUST THOUGHT HE WAS

SINCERE folks who have a deep love of the bible sad to say are the jw target audience for once they get them convinced accepting the WT published works = ACCEPTNNG WHAT GOD SAYS --game over----

note what the wt editorial staff tells all its readers in regards to how they should view what they publish:

“Respond to the directions of the organization as you would the voice of God.“( Watchtower 6/15/1957, p. 370)

now note HOW ONE LONG TIME JW WITH MANY YEARS AS A FAITHFUL JW SUMMED IT UP

Nomi wrote:

"There is no difference between Jehovah, and the WT. The magazine is based entirely on his Word, nothing else. Anyone who says differently is wrong."

FOLKS WE CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP

“You REALLY believe that???”

READERS should examine what Jehovah's Witnesses have to say for themselves and that may give them a better understanding of why people become interested in serving Jehovah:
