You don't have any Witness friends!

There is no such thing.

Does that sound extreme?

Suppose a Catholic priest or Rabbi or Pastor told you to never speak to someone or never even say hello?

Your reaction might be "I'll decide who I want as a friend or not".

But no so if you are a Jehovah's Witness.

Three elders in any congregation can and do order the end of a friendship and enforce it.

Dude that is because you spend your time and efforts bringing JW's out of the WTS.

When you meet a jW, are you happy to let them beleive what they want to beleive?

Or, are you going to try to convert them?

Be honest!

"I apologize for this point, as if beating it to death, but folks, You don't have any Witness friends! There is no such thing.
Does that sound extreme? Too radical? Suppose a Catholic priest or Rabbi or Pastor tells you to never speak to someone or never even say hello?
Your reaction might be "F--k you, I'll decide who I want as a friend or not". But no so if you are a Witness. Three elders in any congregation can order the end of a friendship and enforce it.
Not only that, but your "friendship" is usually based on regular meeting attendance and correct answers to inquisition style queries demanding loyalty to Witness leaders.
Oh, and let's add the fact .....yes, lurkers, FACT!..... that Witnesses are such expert shunners that they may shun you regardless of the above points. Examples?
1) You're the Theocratic Ministry School overseer and you MUST schedule sisters carefully as many of them won't talk to each other and so if you assign them, they won't show up.
2) You shun anyone for displeasing you and conveniently classify them as "unfaithful" somehow. You do this for months to your own father and then discover (even though HE ATTENDS MEETINGS) that he died suddenly today of heart failure. Feel good about yourself, sister?
3) You try to lead the morning group out in field service but you never seem to have success because nobody told you about what Witnesses aren't talking to each other this month.
4) You go to the Hall on Sunday and notice 5 - 6 married couples sitting apart from each other. I guess they weren't talking to each other ( Witness elder confirmed that).
5) A Brother has kidney failure. Out of his extended Witness family, rated by meeting attendance, who finally gave him a kidney?( answer:the one barely a Witness at all)
6) Disfellowshipping can have the practical effect of removing family members. Aunt/Uncle/Dad/Mom/Child df'd and you treat them as dead to you? If you can go along with dumping them, even in principle, I can't see how you should have any trouble understanding my point about Witnesses not having or being real friends.
There are other appropriate, accurate terms to use other than "friend" - such as "associate" or "allies". Describing a Jehovah's Witnesses as your "friend" is akin to "virgin whore" or "Arab Unity" or perhaps "kind-hearted torturer".
In any case, you have no Witness friends. Sorry, but if you need friends, look elsewhere.

I have more friends than I can count or name. Many of them have been my friends for more than 40 years. We became friends when our children were babies, and now we all have grandchildren.

We expect to be friends forever and ever. We all love Jehovah and will never leave him.

My experience with some Jehovah's Witness co-workers is that they are very good friends if they think you are interested in converting to their church. But they tend to lose interest in you if you don't respond to their overtures.

However, I did remain on friendly terms with another JW co-worker, even though he tried and failed to convert me. Surprisingly we continued to have many interesting theological discussions.

Every individual is taken on an individual basis.
And God opens a way, for the message to be preached, it doesn't have to be forced .
Jesus always said " He who wants to listen let him listen.
this preaching of Jesus being the Christ of God and not an organization, is Gods work.

How do you think Jehovah dealt with the nation of Israel?......they were united as a people they had to be organized.

People weren't serving Jehovah alone running their own program. He dealt with them as whole.

But of course we each carry our own load. And have to have a personal relationship with him.

And plus what was the purpose of building the terbanacle? Wasn't it build to worship Jehovah as a people together?

Or do you think we should build little KH or terbanacles in our back yards and serve God alone?

How are we suppose to encourage each other if we are not united, when one brother is going to the east and another to the west?

And what did God do to this huge organized structure of Jehovah witnesses?
he burnt the temple to the ground and scattered them over the face of the earth.
However he did save individuals within the organization of that time who did listen to HIS BELOVED SON.
We either 'gather with Christ" or we gather with men.
The bread pictures our unity with Christ and each other. The loaf pictures Christ body, that was broken for us that we might live. As each individual one of us takes a morsel from that one loaf, it shows our union and gathering to Christ to feed on his bread, and because we all feed off that one loaf, we although many are all one. True unity. But alas you have been deceived into believing unity occurs outside Christ.

Well of course he burnt it to the ground he got tired of all the nagging and complaining. They were unthankful stiff necks.

And who are you united with? May I ask?

What makes you think I am outside of Christ?

I am far from perfect but at least I follow Jesu's footsteps and try to teach people about Jehovah' s kingdom like Jesus did.

I don't nag and complain about Kingdom melodies,I don't change the words because I don't like a song.I am willing to do whatever Jehovah asks of me.

the words of the song went 'god has a fine channel that is truly unoque and through it he chooses to warn and to speak.' i gather you know the song.
now those words are in direct opposition to jehovahs written word in hebrew Chp1 [1]
"God who long ago spoke on many occasions and in many ways ...[2]has at the end of these days spiken to us by means of a SON.."
So who is telling YOU the TRUTH
Does God speak through a CHANNEL
Or does he speak through his SON?
Which one?

So let me ask you there are 7million brothers and sisters who aren't trippin over a song and you want the lyrics to change for you and only you?

Wow!

We don't deny that we follow Jesus.Your on a whole different plane. It has never occured to me to "fault find" a kingdom melody.

So are you going to write your own songs and get your own congregation started?

Yuni, when I was baptized I died, so I don't matter, do you believe Jehovah talks through his Son like he says, or do you believe he talks through something else like a channel?

Jehovah,Jesus,Faithfull and discreete slave.

Lil Lamb.I don't agree with all your new ideas. But its okay you don't have to agree or like me either.

You stand out from all the other anti-JW.You seem very calm and you don't lower yourself to the ground with abusive speech. You don't call Jehovah Satan like the rest of apostates and that makes me happy.

I wish there was something I could say or do that will help you come back.

I have a big imagination and get caught up in wishful thinking.

Romans 5:5 Hope does not lead to disappoinment.

If I sound goofy don't mind me.I am suppose to be sleeping.

Yuni God speaks through his Son. the words are written down for us by the witnesses who walked and talked with him. That is why we have the gospels. so if anyone makes a statement, we can check what they have said with the scriptures.
that is why scripture tells us " to test the spirits and see if they come from God."
So spirit is words.
I checked the words and see of they are from God.
I found that God used to speak to people in many ways, but at the end of these days he speaks to us by means of his Son.
jesus is the WORD, his sayings are spirit and life. So when we read the Bible we are listening to what Jesus says. But what if a false teaching is put forth?
How will you know its not true?
You measure what has been said with what Jesus says.
So in the scriptures , the WORD it says,' God in these last days speaks to us by means of a Son.' So when a man comes along and says ' no he speaks through a channel' I know he is lying ,because I the words in the Bible are true, because I can't find the other words in the Gods Word.

So you don't believe in serving God in unity with others who want to worship him?

I take it you want to lean on your own understanding and be a one man show?

Baptism
Romans 6 [3] Do you not know? that ALL of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ , were baptized into his death [ we can't be baptized into anybody else, because nobody else died for us]
Therefore we were buried with him through our baptism into his death, in order that just as Christ was raised up from the dead through the glory of God the Father, we should also walk in the newness of life."
Romans 6 [6] Because we know our old personality was impaled with him, that our sinful body may be made inactive, that we should ni longer be slaves to sin."
This is the request to God for a clean conscience, we are forgiven our sins are washed away.
So when you go down into the waters of baptism you picture dying with Christ, YOU die and when you come up out of the waters of baptism
" It is no longer I that lives, but Christ who lives in me."
Jesus personality is now being formed in you, and you no longer do your will but the will of God.
