Looked in my online dictionary as well as my book. None.<quoted text>Did you look the word up in an english dictionary? Porneia (Strong's G4202) is a greek word (and a transliterated one, at that), and therefore will probably not be found in an english dictionary.
An Observer wrote, "
Was Jesus teaching children in those verses? That's one of my points too. "
Whether Jesus was teaching children is irrelevant. As a boy, he would have heard the reading of the Law during his trips with his family to Jerusalem, and he would have been present at the local synagogue during the reading of Law.
As the Son of God, he was aware of his Father's feelings on how information, even that of a sexual nature, was to be disseminated in a religious setting.(Incidentally, if you hold the belief that Jesus was in fact God, then the point remains)
It is irrelevant because almost all religions view the topic of sex mature nature and do not discuss it in front of children. You had no problems telling me in Leviticus it was taught to everyone. Now do you believe Jesus would talk to little children about anal and oral sex?
