Curious. How much knowledge is too much knowledge? as in, "this means everlasting life; their "taking in knowledge""?

If you take in too much knowledge, that would be Biblical knowledge, rather than Watchtower "knowledge", you will soon be expelled from Jehovah's witnesses, or, if they are calling at your door and you show too much Bible knowledge, they will mark you as an "opposer".

The question is relevant then, how much knowledge is too much?

ihv usually i get them from the wt material itslef so i am guessing thats whre the recent ones are coming from

the only number that makes me laugh is the number of annointed... its stayed basically the same for many a year... seems the death rate amongst them is much lower.. heck in some years some of them must have been resurrected cause the number WENT UP

I have
Personally never seen anything in the WT that talks about a loss of members.
But, facts are silly anyway.

Can you agree that the jw's have one of the highest turnover rates of any religion? Can you explain why?

I can agree with that.
Now, taking death out of the equation, people either get disfellowshipped and never come back.
People formally disassociate themselfs and never return and, people simply fade away.
Would you like details?

I'd love details. Details on mental health issues and jw's. You're in a very special position with the jw's. You're the catch of a lifetime. The person that got you has serious status. They got a military man.

bingo
for decades one was required to turn in at least 1 hour to be a publisher and get included in the jw worldwide growth count

then the wt lowered the requirement from 60min to 15min and like over night the jw growth was majic

the growth in Pioneers and Aux Pioneers all
show growth, O SH$#! Sherlock, the just LOWERED THE STANDARDS

like a school going from 93-100 =A to

70-100 now equals an "A"

so one could conclude that the teachers are really teaching and the students are really learning now

lol

This statement is PROVABLY false.

Jehovah's Witnesses are increasing in numbers at a strong rate (between 2-3%) year on year.

In fact they are one of the fastest growing religions.

That could only effect the figures for ONE year. But Jehovah's Witnesses keep growing EVERY year.

So it clearly has nothing to do with changing how people are counted.

This change was actually TINY.

The vast majority of people who Witness for at least 15 minutes ALSO Witness for at least one hour.

And, as already noted, it could only effect the figures for a single year.

But Jehovah's Witnesses have been growing at a strong rat (2-3%) each and every year without letup.

Jesus Christ will explain it:

*** Mark 4:3 "Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow,

*** Mark 4:4 and it happened, as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.

*** Mark 4:5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.

*** Mark 4:6 But when the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

*** Mark 4:7 Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

*** Mark 4:8 Others fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some brought forth thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much."

ihv fla, i fortet for the moment which booklet or book the wt talks about the number of its members.. but if you have their cd i am sure you can look it up and see from year to year the number of "publishers" and the number of "annointed"

the cd goes back to the 50s with this info so it would be easy to find and see i am correct
