Why didn't the wtbts donate the building with the stipulation that the building only can be used by the community for housing for the needy, elderly and feed people. The wtbts would be known for what they did and recieve a right off.It would make for perfect public relations.Faith with out works is dead!

'Jehovah's' organization doesn't operate that way.

Because then you would complain that the WTS gave away prime real estate instead of selling it to a developer who could use it to stimulate the local economy.

Are you running for election? Stimulating the economy is a politcal cleche. Are you more worried about your investments than JW's that are in need of daily necesities now? Happy boating.

Though we are involved in many charities, we spearhead only 'one' and we put all of our resources towards it.

Its down to what the people who DONATE money to the WTS donated it for.

People who want to house the elderly and feed people donate to organisations who house the elderly and feed the poor.

The WTS is a non profit PUBLISHING house and people who want free Bibles and Bible based literature distributed throughout the world donate to the WTS.

The WTS could not spend the money that people donated on anything other than what it was donated for.

You may as well ask why a cat-rescue centre doesn't give its money to house the elderly.

Many charities? Please name ONE.
Integrity is judged by past performance, and sorry the performance of the GB aka F&DS, the WTS, and Jehovah's witnesses, are filled with failures. The integrity of that tree, well its lost all its leaves.

JW prime responsibilty is to the preaching work.

WTBTS funds are put to use to advance that most sacred of obligations.

The witnessing of Jehovah's name, purposes and his coming kingdom.

We also help build halls, facilities around the world and we help out where the brothers might have a need due to any number of emergencies.

"Though we are involved in many charities"

WHAT?

WELL ATLEAST YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT CHARITIES ARE A GOOD THING OTHERWISE YOU WOULD NOT ASSOCIATE THE JW'S WITH THEM,

THANKYOU FOR CONTRADICTING THE WTS.

Of course its a publishing house. Jesus Christ instructed us to publish the good news of the Kingdom. Jehovah's Witnesses are SO SUCCESSFUL in publishing the good news of the Kingdom that they have an entire publishing corporation to help them!

Further more Jehovah's Witnesses magazine that carries the good news of the Kingdom has a greater circulation than any [other] magazine on earth thanks to their "publishing house".

No wonder the people from the churches of Christendom are jealous and arguing that the money being spent on preaching the word of Christ to the world should be spent elsewhere.

No. You are wrong. There's NO excuse for this multimillion dollar corporation not to have any type of assistance for the less foetunate. You trying to defend this point makes you look foolish...you're religion operates at a complete 180° from what Jesus taught.

I'm no one to judge ma'am but last time I checked helping the less fortunate with something they can actually use such as food, shelter, or clothing was more important than a peddled book of lies.
How in the world can you defend this? With your mentality Jesus would have never of fed the crowds who would come to hear him speak. He would have never of healed the sick or cure the blind because his preaching would have been enough.

*** Matt 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? Mat 5;46
