More AGM news continues to trickle in….

As a disclaimer I feel the need to draw attention to the fact that all information was initiated by faithful/believing JWs so if any lurkers thinks they recognize nuances of an email(s) they might have similarly received…. The original Bro/Sis holds no responsibility for my actions of reiteration….

13,582 were in attendance from 91 countries.

Confirmation that Brother Splane has been named as Barr’s successor in Writing.

Confirmation of all 6 Central American countries merging under the Mexican Branch. The Bethel family staff has been reduced from 300 to 75.

Branch News……
Branch consolidations were not about individual Branch efficiency rather better use of kingdom possessions as a whole. This allows for greater unity and optimal spiritual benefit.

Some examples of these benefits are:
(a) Fewer Zone Visits
(b) Merged countries may share Traveling Overseers
(c) Fewer Training Courses
(d) Resources are freed up enabling Branch expansion into areas such as Macedonia and Serbia (and others but no other territories were directly named)

Court cases…..

Russia- The Russian Government is appealing the ECHR June 10, 2010 ruling to the Grand Chamber. Requests for continued prayers.

France- The ECHR has agreed to consider the WTS appeal over the 60% taxing of contributions. If we are able to prevail it will have a great impact on our status and sit as precedent for any future cases in Europe.

New Stuff:……
1-year trial starting mid-2011 of a ‘Simplified English’ language WT edition for countries where English is a 2nd language; if successful, benefits are extended to the translation departments as well as to parents of young children.

2-year trial (USA) shepherding program for DO (and wives), global afterwards

FurtherAGM detail and discussion of the DO shepherding program can be found on Seenitall’s thread….please post your thoughts and comments! http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/19...

4 Theocratic Schools. Starting Sept 1, 2011 each year Patterson will host 2 Branch Committee classes and 2 Traveling Overseer classes. These will be the second courses for the Brothers.

MTS name change to “Bible School for Single Brothers”(BSSB)

New school:“Bible School for Christian Couples”.

Further AGM details and discussion of all the schools can be found on Seenitall’s thread…..please contribute your thoughts! http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/be...

Spiritual Upbuilding….

“Have you entered into God’s rest?”(Heb 4:10, 11)

All were encouraged to cease ‘dead works’(Heb 6:1)

Self-evaluation:…Ask yourself how you would react to counsel regarding personal lifestyle? What if the scriptural counsel differs from personal opinion? Will you be obedient in molding?

Example: An adult child who lives outside of the household is DFd? While the term ‘Necessary family business’ is a term familiar with those in this circumstance; the GB wants to stress there is no need to push this to the extreme!…

Basically to shorten the example and to get to the heart of the matter….. there must be incentive for the DFd person to want to return. Parents are encouraged to give a little but to leave the DFd child desiring for more while promoting their actions as motivate by their love for Jah. The end result is hope that the DFd child in wanting full access to the abundant love of his parents will also begin to see his losses in not having a relationship with Jehovah and seek reinstatement.

1 Thes 5:2, 3 …………… "Peace & Security" , we are still awaiting fulfillment, this scripture is referring to a an exceptional development but all is a veneer and will fool all who are not spiritual awake!

That is all I got for now……

On JWN:

"Well, I guess since the society discourages exercise (bodily training) and a proper, healthy diet (how can a janitor afford Whole Foods?), and very little mental stimulation - it makes sense that at 50 years old, one would have one foot on the grave. No wonder they do not want anything over 49."-Magwitch

This is the kind of nonsense that makes JWN a bunch of lies and a real downer.

Standfirm-Magwich is sorta of age sensitive right now....

That is no excuse to LIE.

No wonder they do not want anything over 49."-Magwitch

-The Society ENCOURAGES exercise.

-The typical Witness is NOT a janitor.

-We have plenty of mental stimulation, just think of field service on its own, not to mention personal entertainment and recreation.

I think Magwitch deep down knows these are not true. But she says them anyway. That makes her a liar. At the very least she is rather, er, "forgetful" considering she is probably an ex-Witness.

You know what she says is false, too, don't you? But that is par for the course at JWN.

It sounds like the JW religion is in the process of reorganization.

Standfirm, are you looking forward to attending the special Bible school with your wife? Or will you go to the one for men only?

I would, but the two Bible schools are only for those who can preach "full-time" (about 17 hours a week).

standfirm....

You are being too rigid with Mags. Her assertions are based on her experiences as a JW.

My Elders frown on my gym membership because I choose to exercise during the day twice a week instead of dedicationg those hours to FS.

I know many JWs in the sanitation business (from owners to simple housekeepers).

You are taking her 'broad' comments and calling her a liar which is equally as broad!

Life isn't black/white......shades of grey are what color majority of our lives.

.......

Have you pioneered? If you don't have children and are younger then me..... I strongly recommend you talk to your wife about considering this as a goal! It would be soooooooo kewl!!!!

I also think it would fill some deeper needs you have that bring you into cyberspace ...... and did I mention it would be UBER KEWL!!!!!!

Like most ex-Witnesses, she is incredibly biased and does not accurately remember how things were. Look up the "atrocity story".

So what? It's a good honest living for some. But it is not the typical career for us. Take off those blinders and see that it is a cut on us and our religion.

Yes, but there is no ambiguity about 'JWs are not allowed to have mental stimulation or exercise'. That is a bold-faced LIE.

Maybe you should pioneer. It might be better than spending time on JWN and being a JWN apologist.

Must apostates contaminate every forum with a topical focus on Jehovah's Witnesses?

It was prophesied that the drivel of scum that twist up the Bible would spread like gangrene:

I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves. Acts 20:29-30

But shun empty speeches that violate what is holy; for they will advance to more and more ungodliness, and their word will spread like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of that number. These very [men] have deviated from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already occurred; and they are subverting the faith of some. 2 Timothy 2:16-18

My position may sound a bit extreme. However, a quick visual of apostate propaganda reveals how sick the thinking of these people are.

http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/17...

Anyone can do their own homework, but the message projected by many of these people clearly demonstrate they have committed the unforgivable sin. Through personal experience, it's safe to say there's no reason contribute your thoughts on any information source controlled by apostates.

http://www.watchtower.org/e/20000622/article_...

"By clever and persevering use of propaganda even heaven can be represented as hell to the people, and conversely the most wretched life as paradise." —ADOLF HITLER, MEIN KAMPF.

AS MEANS of communicating have expanded—from printing to the telephone, radio, television, and the Internet—the flow of persuasive messages has dramatically accelerated. This communications revolution has led to information overload, as people are inundated by countless messages from every quarter. Many respond to this pressure by absorbing messages more quickly and accepting them without questioning or analyzing them.

w69 8/15 p. 511 Questions From Readers

What is the unforgivable sin?—E. M., U.S.A.

“Every sort of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven. For example, whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in the present system of things nor in that to come.”—Matt. 12:31, 32; Mark 3:28, 29; Luke 12:10.

With these religious leaders it was not just a case of failing to be convinced by Christ’s teachings and works. The people of Chorazin and Bethsaida had been so preoccupied with their way of life that they did not accept Jesus and repent; yet they evidently will benefit from God’s mercy and have a resurrection and a future opportunity to learn the way of righteousness.(Matt. 11:20-24) Nor with the Pharisees was it a matter of blaspheming and opposing true worshipers because of ignorance of God’s will. Saul of Tarsus had been such a man, but he was shown mercy and forgiven.(1 Tim. 1:13-16) Rather, these religious leaders were rotten in their hearts right to their core, and Jesus knew it. Unlike the common people, they had a considerable knowledge of God’s Word. Now they had seen an evident demonstration of God’s spirit. Nevertheless, they completely rejected what was accomplished by Jehovah’s spirit and blasphemously credited Jesus’ miracles to Satan’s power. How bad could one get?

Hi there christ illusion and All others...

Im not, I try to do my best to follow Pauls recommendation in Ephesians 5:10-14 where I explore the Watchtower Society, Germaliels Bodys evil and weird doctrines of men and their bloodguilty organisation, which have and still send thousands and other thousands of brothers, sisters and their children into a premature death... like those described in Jeremiah 7:31,32., 8:8.9 and what Jesus Christ he states in Matthew 15:7-10...

Members of the Watchtower Society, Germaliels Bodys are victims for their Mind Control, evil and weird doctrines, teaching, double standards, hypcrisy and lies...

The answer is True!

Watchtower policies are unfairly biased and hurt children in our view. Why do we say this? Because of the way the Watchtower has chosen to classify blood products, platelets may not be used. These play an important part in the clotting process. Platelets are widely used in the treatment of cancers like Leukemia. Since platelets constitute a tiny percentage of blood volume (0.17%), one can only wonder why it would be that the WTS would choose to ban this particular component. The result is that Jehovah's Witness children are sometimes forced to discontinue their chemotherapy and allow their cancer or leukemia to run its course. The irony is that in the next hospital room over, a Jehovah's Witness can be having a transfusion of hemoglobin, albumin, Cryoprecipitated AHF, blood serums, etc. Any of which will likely constitute a much larger percentage of blood by volume. Theoretically, a JW can have all of these at the same time as long as the tiny membranes from the formed elements are not transfused. However, he may not have this tiniest of all blood components that is so essential to life in specific situations.

With cure rates for children with leukemia now higher than 80%, there is little doubt about the truthfulness of the Watchtower's chilling comments. As in former times, thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses kids have probably died to support the Watchtower's classification of blood products. Was the sacrifice necessary? Is it something that Jehovah God requires? Or is it simply irrational policy making by the Watchtower Society? You decide.

"In former times thousands of youths died for putting God first. They are still doing it, only today the drama is played out in hospitals and courtrooms, with blood transfusions the issue."

Christ Illusion, you make the statement, above:

"What is the unforgivable sin?—E. M., U.S.A.

You, and all JWs might want to seriously consider those words as you speak of the Holy Spirit being only "an active force" and when ridiculing the Holy Spirit with words such as "holy ghost god"

If, as Christians believe, the Holy Spirit is one of three Persons being God, Jehovah's witnesses are in great danger of receiving the consequences shown in your quoted scripture.

In every cong I have known the average witness has a dead end job that needs very little inteligence to perform.
Mental stimulation field service. That too is a joke. I used to be a regular pioneer. We were told exactly what to say to any objections. The society even have books telling you the scriptures to use.
Once someone shows they have any knowledge of the societies false teachings of the past, it is time to go.

I just realized Doug, it must have been a different place, maybe a convention center? I think Three Rivers was/is an open stadium. The one I was at was closed, if I remember correctly.

This is a great update! Thanks!

The WTS is now a lost cause, just stumbling in the dark outside of Jehovah's favor and light. It's sad, actually.

But what else can they do but to pretend to carry on until Armageddon.

The bible says they are cast into the lake of fire, that is, the "false prophet" while "still alive" meaning while they are still operating.

But of note, they along with Christendom, the 666-Beast will give forth inspired expressions that will lead the nations to Armageddon. So we are all looking closely at the fulfillment of "peace and security" being declared, a specific phrase already used by Barack Obama, a person who is already the head of the U.N. Security Council.

So we shall see.

It must have been at the convention center out by the airport. I can't recall any at Three Rivers Stadium.

Best all-time talk ever given was the one where they spoke about "the ax" not becoming more important than the one using it. WOW! Even though I was very young at the time, that talk did something for me. I always knew that Jehovah would let me be "swung" at his enemies, but that I would be just his "tool", and not lean upon my own "ANYTHING".

It's 1:25PM here in Pittsburgh. Honest...I just realized that Isaiah is more than the "long winded, boring" Bible book that I always thought it to be. Between the scripture that "e-watchman" brought out (Isaiah 30:21) on his website about the Watchtower going in the WRONG DIRECTION, and today's memory lane flashback, I've decided that I will go back and read it through and ask Jehovah to forget my insisting that he do things on my schedule, and learn some real lessons.

Maybe it's just my wanting the IMPOSTORS out ASAP, but Jehovah wants them out more than I do. And besides, I just found out about them being there on October 25, 2004. He'll probably ask me what I was doing before that date, that was so important that I wasn't "looking" at what was going on, but suddenly want things done "my" way.

I do have one advantage though...

He gave his firstborn son for me!!!
