Twinitarian Goofiplanations #291-

"If you read John 5:18, you will see that the Pharisees had already decided to kill Jesus and were diligently seeking some means of
carrying out their plans."--Chained

[John 5:18-Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath,
but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.]

That was their SPIN, which the context showed Jesus DENIED.

" In that context, Jesus' words at John 5:26 carry the weight of John 10:17-18,
where Jesus plainly said they would not be able to murder him, but that he would lay down his
own life and take it up again. " --Chained

John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself."
God did not make another God Immortal. God had the power to grant everlasting life, and gave Christ that authority.

"Jesus affirmed here that the Son is co-equal with God in the possession of life in Himself." -Chained

Chained only affirms that he has fulfilled Peter's words:
2 Pet 2:20- For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21- For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it,
to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22-But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.- KJV

Exactly! Does that mean that Jesus WAS equal with God? Who'd MAKE HIMSELF EQUAL WITH GOD?? Yes, that was their spin, you got that correct. Imagine someone believing that means Jesus really DID MAKE HIMSELF EQUAL TO GOD or WAS EQUAL TO GOD because of the Jews' accusation?? Yes to the rest of your post.

This PROVES her an antichrist, for Jesus said-
" And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
I glorified thee on earth, having accomplished the work which thou gavest me to do!"-John 17:3,4
"You Samaritans worship what you do NOT know; we worship what we DO know, for salvation is from the Jews.
"Yet a time is coming and has now come
when the true worshipers will worship the
Father - John 4:22,23
" If you really know me, you will know my Father as well..."- John 14:7
We JWs KNOW God and Christ- Churchianity only PRETENDS to.
Jesus also said only he knows the Father, and only the Father knows the Son. Where JWs fail is that they believe their knowledge of the Father comes through facts about the Father. But knowledge does not mean to intimately know, as a child knows his father.

Christians believe their knowing the Father is through the facts Jesus gave about his Father...AND that that knowledge is only made intimate to them as true children of God through the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus gave for our adoption as God's children. Who adopted JWs? Who??...and how did he/she do it?
Who intimately ties them to the Creator as a child of God?

So, no one knows the Father but the Son. Jesus came to reveal his Father in flesh and blood, so that we might see how holiness was lived.

Funny, how with all those claims, LittleDemon has no CLUE as to who Jesus is...much LESS his God!

I don't know who Jesus is? Well, I read the WT's explanation. He doesn't even exist, because he is now Michael, just like he was Michael before he took on the bit part in creation and became Jesus for about only 3 years. Somehow he's ruling now in heaven, but it is really Michael, even though he's called Jesus in the WT mags for the weekly "Bible" studies.

He is a man and an angel, but it is difficult to tell when he is which, because, if we go by the name, he's the man, but, if we go by the WT doctrine, he's the angel. But, I suppose if we blink really fast, he can be both...but not at the same time?

Somehow Michael will go away at the end, and Jesus will come to set up the Kingdom, I think.(not sure of this; I haven't checked the latest edition of the WT to see what JWs are supposed to believe this week.)

OH, LOOK! You must have made a convert! I sound just like you!

No- you have NO idea who Jesus is.

Just as an experiment; did God beget Himself...or another God-Essence...then beget a nameless Ghost-God?

No, beckyss, not understandable at all. Imagine the third person equal to God as a dove seen near Jesus when he got baptized!.:-) The trinity doctrine is simply not understandable.

The trinity doctrine says that Jesus was the Son "ETERNAL." From whatever beginning he supposedly didn't have, he was always the son.

Jesus left out the holy spirit from that equation. He didn't say that only the HS and the Father know the Son, and only the Son know the HS and the Father, or the HS and the Son knows the Father, etc. He never said that only the Holy Spirit and the Father know the Son, and only the Son knows the Holy Spirit and the Father.

Whatever you say. I have no problem with the 1914 doctrine. I do have a problem with the trinity. doctrine.

Twinitarian Goofiplanations #292- The Queen of Double-Talk!

"How many times has it been written that there is no verse where the Bible says anything about the Trinity?
The Trinity teaching does not need one verse, for it is the teaching of the true God and His relationship with and reconciliation to man.
You can't define the workings of God in one verse. The entire Bible is a revelation of the workings of God as Father, Son, and Spirit."- LittleDemon

Yes, the "entire Bible" teaches it, BUT " there is no verse where the Bible says anything about the Trinity".
MY, how I love to watch the Trinnies flop all OVER themselves!
