An Israeli rabbi has defended a recent religious edict allowing Jews to murder non-Jews, including “babies and children,” who may pose an actual or potential threat to Jews or Israel.

In a book published in Hebrew in November entitled, The King’s Torah, Rabbi Yitzhak Shapiro argued that goyem (a derogatory epithet for non-Jews) may be killed if they threaten Israel.

Shapiro was quoted as saying that his edict “is fully justified by the Torah and the Talmud.”

Now i know your going to attack me for asking, but i'll ask anyways. Doesn't this article look a little bit like propaganda, afterall comming from "the palestinian Times?" The Guy in the picture looks like an actor posing as a Rabbi.

A blurb, from the web site-- " He added that “if we kill a Gentile who has sinned or has violated one of the seven commandments—because we care about the commandments—there is nothing wrong with the murder.”

Fair question here, Isn't it 10 commandments? This looks like propaganda.

Another fair question, Is this where you get most of your info?

“It is permissible to kill the Righteous among non-Jews even if they are not responsible for the threatening situation,” he wrote in the book.

He added that “if we kill a Gentile who has sinned or has violated one of the seven commandments—because we care about the commandments—there is nothing wrong with the murder.”

Shapiro’s edict has been backed by numerous rabbis affiliated with the so-called national-religious camp, as well as the Talmudic seminary in West Jerusalem known as Merkaz Ha’rav.

Among the rabbis who have publicly supported the edict are Yitzhak Ginsburg and Ya’akov Yosef.

Ginsburg had written a leaflet glorifying Baruch Goldstein—the notorious Jewish terrorist who in 1994 murdered 29 Muslim worshipers at the Ibrahimi Mosque in downtown al-Khalil.

He called the murderer a “saintly figure.”

Shapiro, who heads a small Talmudic school at the settlement of Yitzhar near Nablus, apparently reaffirmed his anti-goyem edict in response to the arrest by the Israeli police a few weeks ago of a Jewish terrorist who has confessed to having murdered two Palestinian shepherds from Yatta near al-Khalil in the West Bank. The terrorist, an American immigrant named Ya’akov Teitel, also confessed to attempting to assassinate leftist Jewish figures.

Apparently, YOU just don't get it! We don't hear you!

Here you are condemn the words of a rabbi who speaks of killing children and the "enemy", yet you can care less about the actions of Muslims who not only speak of killing children and the enemy a/k/a kaffirs and even other Muslims, but actually do--time and time again! There have been literally nearly 15,000 Muslims terror attacks since 9/11.

Why is it that you condemn words, but ignore actual acts of murder and other various forms of victimization by Muslims?!

You're crying wolf again!!

More to the point, Your crying Muslim--AGAIN!

The police considered the arrest of Teitel an important achievement in combating the phenomenon of Jewish terrorism which experts contend thrives on religious edicts issued by rabbis affiliated with the religious-Zionist camp.

Nearly 16 years ago, a Jewish terrorist named Yigal Amir assassinated then Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Moreover, numerous innocent Palestinians have also been murdered in cold blood by Jewish terrorists.

This didn't answer the questions asked. It was just spin. So
Again, the question-- was this article ledgit or just propaganda. The article looks like complete propaganda. The Rabbi in the picture isn't even a real rabbi, Looking at the picture its plain to see. And the blurb about the 7 commmanments makes no sense. If he was a real Rabbi, then he would know from the Tora its 10 commandments. Sounds like typical propaganda but getting the facts wrong.

So if there is actually no eveidence except "The Pallywood news" then all this is doing is spreading hate for no real reason.

Non-Jews are non-Humans

Shapiro’s views on how Palestinians and non-Jews in general ought to be treated according to Jewish religious law or (halacha) are widely looked at as representing the mainstream not the exception in Israel.

This is the view of Rabbi Menachem Fruman, the rabbi of the settlement of T’kua near Bethlehem. Fruman described the extreme anti-Arab views as “unfortunately enjoying widespread support among the rabbinic community.”

According to Israel Shahak, author of, Jewish History, Jewish Religion: the Weight of Three Thousand Years, the term “human beings” in Jewish law refers solely to Jews.

Some Talmudic texts do refer to all gentiles as “animals.” In Midrash Talpioth, for example, we read that “God created non-Jews in the form of men for the glory of Israel, but Akum (non-Jews) were created for the sole end of ministering unto the Jews day and night. They can never be relieved from this service.”
