Is Egypt to become the new Iran?

There are 4 comments on the www.worthynews.com story from Nov 29, 2012, titled Is Egypt to become the new Iran? . In it, www.worthynews.com reports that:

It is not only the anti-government protesters in Egypt's Tahrir Square who should be concerned about President Mohammed Morsi's audacious power grab. Mr Morsi's claim at the weekend that "God's will and elections made me the captain of this ship" has echoes of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini's claim during the 1979 Iranian revolution that his mission to overthrow the Shah enjoyed divine guidance ...

from worthynews:

"Since his announcement that he was granting himself sweeping new powers, Mr Morsi has been trying to reassure sceptical Egyptian voters that he has no ambition to become Egypt's new Pharaoh. But you only have to look at the violent scenes that have once again erupted in Tahrir Square to see that the majority of Egyptians remain unconvinced ...

"Mr Morsi says he has no desire to become a dictator, but his announcement that, henceforth, all presidential decrees will be immune from legal challenge does not bode well for Egypt's transition from military dictatorship to democracy.

"I am sure I am not the only one wondering whether Mr Morsi is about to become the new Ayatollah Khomeini ..."

Sacrifice by a Muslim will not count if it is for secular cause.

Death of a revolting Muslim will not count as martyrdom it is for secular cause.

A Muslim who strives for secular cause will have all his or her effort wasted.

I am not saying Muslims from secular political parties will have all his or her effort in vain because so called secular Muslims often strive for good causes that bring goodness to other Muslims.

I am saying that secular people who strive only for the benefit of Westerners and Israelis - who are always bent on destroying Muslims - will have their effort gone in vain, just like that.

I hope Morsi can distinguish who among the Egyptians are worthy to listen to, and who aren't.

People who have been raised under Islam will always need a father figure to give a "guiding hand" to control and direct their lives.
It also explains why they also need a mother figure in their lives. The adult Muslim males habit of breastfeeding off his female relatives confirms this.
