1 Corinthians 11:6
Yes, if she refuses to wear a head covering, she should cut off all her hair! But since it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or her head shaved, she should wear a covering.
1 Corinthians 11:5-7 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 11 (Whole Chapter)

That's from the old testament. Christians don't use that book.

because at some point of time Muslims made a trademark for hijab as Islamic.

For your information, there are many Christians (specially in Mediterranean area) wear scarf over their head. It is cultural more than religious.

This is St.Paul's instruction for the members of early church.

Not wearing headscarf is NOT a sin is Christianity.

it's fuuny how when it's convenient, the rules apply and when it's not then it was for the early church, but that is your assumption, Paul does not say that and even says it's a shame. say whatever you want, but it is only your opinion, paul said wear it.

and like i said, did you acquire this knowledge from the Bible or from yourself? did Paul say only the women of his area or his time or did he say christian women? and has it been told to you from scriptural evidence that it's not a sin? He obviously said it was a shame for a women same as shaving her head.

good question and now follow please what I say.

Bible is huge and consists of 66 books that were written over 1600 years of time.

In Bible, it consists of 1. History, 2. Prophecy. 3. Wisdom, 4. God's command, 5. Testify about Christ and Apostle's preaching.

In a very nutshell. Though Bible scholars can divide many other ways to present.

Now only part that represent God's command in the Bible that are universal commands. And it is a particular book or chapter. When you read a Bible and all its book and try to understand you will know which ones are commands of God.

The history section (for eaxmple books from torah) applied to the deserting wondering Israelites and that was God's covenant with them.

Prophecy and Wisdom sections are UNIVERSAL.
Life of Christ, Son of God is UNIVERSAL and word of Jesus Christ is command of God which Christians are to follow.

Preaching by apostle are testify about Christ and many instructions by them apply to early church, though many are universal.

Hope this help.

I am not sure what background you are comming from , if you are a born Muslim, then ONE Bible is a combination of equivalent of in contents Quran, Hadith and Tafsirs - all in one collection of 66 books.

Why do people always judge people on these sites.the bible also says pray without ceaseing so I guess that means women should wear a head covering at all times.
